I love LeBron don’t want to trade him.

you have to read the preference.

if LeBron wanted to get traded. The best deal would be Miami.

Ware looks like a great Center. Been tearing up preseason.

we were eyeing Wiggins all off season a little younger savy veteran who’s won with the perimeter defense we lack. And can score. To match the salaries.

and Mitchell a backcourt defensive point guard who won’t get in the way of Luka p and A

I’m not trying to trade Lebron I’m saying if he asked to be traded that’s where I would look based on the trade relationship and what players they have.

Love LeBron but I’m not sure he wants to be here and I haven’t heard from him. And honestly I don’t know when he’s going to play. Does not seem extremely thrilled to be around these guys. Maybe I’m wrong and he’ll be high fiving on the bench Tuesday at the game. But if you could get something that would be it. He is 40.

and I’ve never said that. But just seeing if he ever got to that point.

My bad. They don't have to pay him 41.5 million. They only have to if a team offers him that and we want to match the deal, financially. In this case, we actually could pay him 7 million more. That was from the beginning, but at the end they suggested Reaves starting at 35 million with annual 8% decreases, which was much better.

I think a fair deal for Austin would be 35 million a year. For 4 years. I think the Lakers will start at that. 40 million is a bit excessive. And I’m sure his agent will be on that side. They’ll get a deal done. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

My whole point with the fun references to the campfires with Austin trade talks this summer before even seeing what he looks like in a career contract year (so far fabulous as expected) and now with LeBron ..... regarding LeBron ..... is it's just wasted speculation for no reason, IMO. The Lakers have NO desire to trade him off the Lakers this season. We have a legitimate Big 3, considerably Bigger than last year with Luka in fighting shape and obviously improved (who wants Lebron here) and AR also obviously improved from 1st impressions, especially with the/my expected time he spent in the weight room and 10lbs of "strength" added. As noted by JJ. LeBron would be a fool to ask off of THIS roster to go anywhere else where their roster now gets depleted because of him. He was in a tremendous place mentally all things Lakers on Media day looking forward again to playing with Luka (who in their right mind wouldn't be) and AR and the quality multiple new players brought in over the summer and deeper roster.

Dyson Daniels agent, Daniel Moldovan, is using the five-year, $150 million extension Jalen Suggs signed last year as the comparison for Daniels, while also assessing Trae Young's uncertain future in Atlanta.
Daniels was named first-team All-Defense, finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting and increased his offensive production from 5.8 to 14.1 points.
If he gets this contract after one season Austin automatically should be getting close to 45 +

If Lebron leaves, we could end up with up to 55 million in cap room. It would be interesting to see what route we go with that. Ellis and Grimes are headed to unrestricted free agency. Daniels restricted. They might command a deal started at 25-30 million. Or they could also use the Suggs contract as reference. Or we do a monster deal, like trade for Giannis. Would he be a 4 or a 5 for us?

Ok, that's a descending deal. Similar to a potential Reaves deal. Ellis and Grimes might also get a similar deal or close to it.
