It’s not good for the league because it just pushes things back towards the haves and have nots. The richest owners win - the biggest fish eats everyone. I’m not a fan of that.

I think it’s likely they cheated to a degree, but I’m curious to what degree, did Ballmer think this was a good investment? Was he in too deep and kept moving forward? Or is it just blatant cheating? We won’t ever really know.

I also subscribe to the Marcus Aurelius teachings; be harsh with one self but forgiving and understanding with others. So if we cheated, that would be against my morals. If other parties cheat against me, I have no problem with playing them even with an unfair advantage. So if the clippers cheated, I’m fine with it, and I won’t try to cheat, I’ll just beat them. But I do recognise that’s a unique viewpoint.

There’s fraud and Ballmer got Burned for money.

Now he’s supposed to get suspended fined because Kawhi cut a side deal with this company???

Where’s has that changed anything I said.

The Paperwork which was presented was a contract that outlined obligations Kawhi had to meet in the contract that were not met.

so where’s the cap circumvention? Sounds like a shady company who f***ed people out of money. Burned their employees everybody’s pissed cause Kawhi got paid and they lost their jobs.

That’s s***ty Kawhi should’ve took care of some of their salary but hey f*** it. He didn’t.

So now what Silver has to make a sense of a Ponzi scheme. When his Owner who he works for is now Pissed that he lost 50 million dollars.

Yes Uncle Dennis the corporate who is going to get the penalty cause he got paid that money was for him.

And the contract makes sense Why would the company have value paying Kawhi playing for any other team but the Clippers.

    New Arena
    L.A.

    Tech friendly

    big market.

He ain’t going to the Lakers

He ain’t going to the Knicks.

So where is the value??? He doesn’t speak a lot.

this was clearly a Clipper team deal Los Angeles deal.

I think Slick brings up a brilliant point that players and teams can share same endorsement deals.

I know it’s different sports but All State and Patrick Mahomes the Chiefs Andy Reid Travis Kelce.

The NBA wants fans talking about NBC ESPN Amazon prime. There won’t be any prominent players suspended for something like this.

    Kawhi vs Luka LeBron Lakers

    ratings money. That’s one angle.

Clippers all star game second angle. Unless you move it Crypto which I don’t see happening.

Contracts get confusing. People get confused. We can’t make players meet obligations in a contract. If they don’t do them.

Kawhi can give a verbal and say yeah okay and then not do them.

That has nothing to do with Steve.

The clear evidence would be if contract or evidence was Steve directing Kawhi to a no show contract with Aspiration. Clearly outlined player is not obligated to do requests won’t do requests but still must be paid full salary. That’s an example. There’s nothing like that.

Steve’s an investor he is part of the company so as an investor you have the most money you would want to put money in the company which happened here 60 million.

if a payment was made to Kawhi that’s the CEO.

But Ballmer getting burned out of 60 million and reporting it to SEC shows he knowingly tried to blow the whistle.

You notify the SEC first that makes it public. So why would be trying to cover it up. He knows what happens if this got out.

How about taking a break with the non stop this and non stop that but also non stop could have been any and every hypothetical OTHER than possible dirty dealings …. and see what the real investigators come up with and what Silver says or does? It’s impossible to even follow you any more.

I’m just stating facts. Kawhi can’t say it was a gift because the contract clearly said he had to meet parameters of the deal. So he knows it is an actual contract he has to do work in.

I second this. Let’s just all get on the same page and root for Balmer, Kawhi and the Clippers to go down in flames.
