    Omg that's awful

Is it to milk Bronny's pick?

guessing viewership drops way off in the second round, and it gets drowned out mostly by discussion of the first round/trades.

i'm not sure moving it to another day is going to do much on either front, though.

I thought it was fine making it a two day event, they're wanting to be more like the NFL. With the new CBA, these second rounders are becoming more valuable. Typically on draft night, I have draft fatigue by round two and am looking at my phone until I hear a trade or we're on the clock. So if packaged right, night two could be fun. There's more time on the clock between picks, we should see more trades. But burying it on 1 PM PST. Why? What else does ESPN have at the end of June to put on?

What else is there to air?

    Not a good decision IMO

Bacot is projected to go undrafted right? I wouldn’t mind us giving him a shot.

i'd love it for everyone if phx uses its 1st rounder on bronny.

i'd gladly use our second on him, but if they believe in his potential, they should make this leap.

Really surprised we landed a workout with Holland. I haven't seen him past 12, but seems to be in the 7-12 in most mocks. But he's visiting the Heat too. He had a poor pro day. Maybe they're expecting a Whitmore like drop.

Everyone's favorite big is coming in, too.

    And we brought in Carter!

LOL .... doesn't hurt for sure, just like it didn't help I'm also sure :D that I sent my DRAFT Edey message copied from here on LB to the Lakers site. But oh hell yeah IF we get Hurley and HE wants Edey. :ShaqOh2: I still can't believe he will last to our 17th spot, despite some of these geniuses not mocking him until later or much later, and feel we should do what it takes to trade UP.

I might have to say a little prayer that this pick gets traded to improve this team for next year

I love bringing in lots of players we'll never be able to draft

but due diligence for when they become free agents in a few years could be valuable

I know to some here it's akin, saying anything good about something having been read on LG .... as to saying anything good about the C Bags. But since so very little Edey talk here besides Slick and I, pages 22 - 24 in their draft thread have some great takes on Zach that I fully agree with. If anyone's interested. One ....don't know if true, was that Hurley might be in town around similar time frame as Edey having his workout too. Which would be great if that had any merit to it. No idea.

da silva interests me a lot as a plug and play pick. but we currently have lebron, vando, rui, and potentially even prince as guys that play the same spot better than he'll be able to in year 1.

i've said for a while that he looks a bit like kuzma on film (not quite as athletic, though).

tbh, like last year, i'm not loving who i think is going to be there at 17. which means trading it will be hard. which means another year of dealing with jhs-type fallout...

    sigh.
