The one I truly lament not pursuing out of that lot is Kyrie. He would have really changed the makeup of this team and I don’t remember many people around here being up for the risk to reward apart from you.

I’d personally like to go for Lauri now. Unload everything we have and see if they bite.

    Gabe - Reaves - Lebron - Lauri - AD

Still wondering how you were able to call us cheap complaining from a situation we paid more money in more years pick a line

I don't think we offered that, and I'm glad for that
I don't think we are getting picks from Chicago. We should try but they know we are desperate too. It would be nice from Rob to pull that off. But they need young guys to make the tanking worth, not sure we have any and we are already asking them to give one to us (in your case 2). Plus, they don't have their 2025 pick so they want to be competitive this year. Lavine may have more value next year, with only 2 remaining. But hey, it's the Bulls so who knows

But that's the goal yeah, I think we are better keeping the picks if the right guy is not there. Try again in the deadline. This roster is already capable of top6, imo

And yeah, LeBron or LeBron and DeRozan for the same money, of course you pick the latter.

Not to be that person, BUT Utah won’t trade a star to the Lakers. I think they have a vendetta against us or something. Not quite sure. Haven’t heard any specifics.:p

SEXTON…..MAYBE, but I doubt Lauri would be an option.

I don’t think any offer would be good enough.

I like Lauri..I still think he and Mitchell are the ideal targets...some don't feel like we have enough to get them..IDK. I'd make an offer.

Gafford and Washington would have played here too, great value on those contracts IMO. I guess we didn't have anything Washington or Charlotte wanted.

I mean Utah won’t trade with us, Portland won’t trade with us, Dallas won’t trade with us, San Antonio won’t trade with us, Phoenix won’t trade with us, Sacramento won’t trade with us…

At what point do these organisations operate from a point of what’s in their best interest and not out of spite. Our 2029 and 2031 picks are some of the most valuable available…

I’m not doing a LaVine trade for less than 3 firsts, 2 pick swaps, and 5 second rounders coming back.
    HE IS ALWAYS INJURED.
Might as well just let LeBron walk and trade AD if you are going to sandbag the Franchise with LaVine.

Lakers offered Klay Thompson '$20M per [year]' and proposed D'Angelo Russell to Warriors in sign-and-trade deal.

    The Warriors declined, per @ChrisBHaynes

Lol clown franchise man. Can't get ANYTHING done

At the same time...they're prioritizing the wrong players once again. Klay is not what we needed

DDR is also not what we need

I would target Lauri Markkanen, Vuc, or Brook Lopez type players

We do not need another SG/SF tweener man.

At this point - we need to just run it back and hope continuity and a new coach is enough for us to get over the hump.

Also, i'd like to dump reddish/hayes somewhere so wee have space to add other players around the seams.

He played 73 the year before this last season. 65 on average in those previous 5 years, never less than 58.
    For comparison:
AD averaged 50 in those 5 years. 1 time only above 58.
Bron averaged 56. 1 time only above 58.

So I'm saying this year is the outlier. It's not the pattern. I'm trying to get a pick from them, but would still do it if there's no other better move out there, which seems like it.

He's an improvement to the roster - check
We don't lose picks - check
We get a good contract to trade for a potential superstar - check

I think our better route is finding a superstar. With or without Bron. We can't win improving the margins. If we want success, we need to get a superstar. If you get Dejounte or Don you throw the picks. But there's no other names available, so you wait while improving the roster.

    Gabe - Dinwiddie - Bronny
    Lavine - Reaves - Knecht
    DeRozan - Max - Fournier
    Bron - Vando - Saric
AD - Richards - Mo Wagner

This is my updated best case scenario at this stage.

The other teams in the West aren't going to just sit on their hands tho. The arms race never stops in this Conference.
