    To avoid disappointment I’m going to operate under the assumption that we won’t be able to find a MLE target that Lebron is willing to accept a paycut for, there won’t be any signings today, and we’ll have to wait several days to find a trade to see if we can improve the roster

    If that’s how it plays out, Denver losing KCP and trading for Westbrook would take the sting out of things

    This would be the anti Westbrook trade. Undervalued star who is a real good fit with the Lakers where the Lakers could realistic gain assets for and not lose

    Forget the jokes and sneers and this would really workout in the Lakers favor here. Get a Drop from Chicago and you get the salary assets to make a big move mid season or next off season as ell

    Maybe the Florida tax break was an incentive but he just left a championship contender offering similar money to a team who on the way up but not there yet. Maybe having a GM essentially wave goodbye during a presser isn't the best way to make you feel all warm and fuzzy.
