They also got an All NBA talent on the cheap - this works a lot of times to help your chances lol
    (Sheed, Gasol, Igoudala)

igoudala and siakam look eerily a like - a couple of s***ty first rounders for an all nba talent who had a few "down" years being put in a bad role on a bad team

They blowing it up? ...Well as much as they can. Not exactly names I expect if they are only moving on from KD.

I don't think they're open for business until KD gets resolved. Antetokounmpo and KD will probably hold up the transaction window until there's clarity on both. Suns are a 2nd apron, if they can dip under that they're much more attractive of a trade partner otherwise it's tricky to get the parts I'm interested in -- Royce, Martin and Richards.

Don Knotts is a good player but Reddick doesn't seem to like him so...

I feel like it's Scottie Barnes' destiny to become one of those guys. Bam is becoming one of those guys, or might be one already.

Both Indiana and OKC two teams winning a championship without paying a luxury tax.

I think we need to choose either AR or DK. That is too many minus defenders. It seems like the front office has already made their decision and the odd man out will likely be DK.

Kevin Durant will either go to New York or Minnesota.

I don’t think Gianiss goes to New York Milwaukee has no interest in Towns.

Towns is best friends with Devin Booker.

New York would probably want Durant Brunson and Towns.

    I see

Jarrett Allen as the Center Dangled. Rob is probably going to come hard after him.

pick and Roll rim protector. That’s probably his first attempt at acquiring his Center.

Indiana has a great thing going. They are really hard to guard. 1-5 there are matchup problems all over the court. And that pace they play at is so fast. Can OKC play at that pace???

See you have to ask yourself from a basketball standpoint what is better for the Lakers??? Knect or Reaves????

With AD you would say Reaves.

but is this Eddie Jones for Glen Rice? Eddie Jones was better than Glen Rice. But Glen Rice was a better fit for Kobe.

so you fast forward to Luka Reaves Knect.

Knect is the actual ideal player fit you want next to Luka as I stated. Knect isn’t trying to handle the ball. Catch and shoot. Luka is ball dominant and needs the ball. Something Reaves is to also.

essentially same player canceling each other out.

Knect would be the ideal player next to Luka that would want to keep. That shooter he can find when he penetrates and dishes.

I don’t see Reaves playing that role. Reaves is Scottie pippen not Steve Kerr.

Ironically right under his nose Reddick was that guy you think he would see it.

so if Knect is the odd man out. That’s weird cause the odd man out might actually be the man helping the Lakers that they need.

If you were able to trade Reaves for Allen.

You would have a balanced lineup of Lebron Luka Allen and Knect which gives you shooting rim protection roll center facilitator. And pure scorer. Everybody plays their roles. It’s to perfection.

Sight Unseen on YOUR all important career performance enhancing theory on "Contract Year"? With comparative loser Ayton. You don't even have the patience, like the Lakers IMO unquestionably (after Caruso) will have ..... to give AR .... a real Baller .... the same consideration?

Yeah, I agree. Knecht is the cleaner fit. No doubt. It's just the Lakers seem to be motivated about trading him for whatever reason. DK is a little worse on the defensive end than AR, but he has potential to improve. Also, there is something to be said for moving without the ball. It tires defenders out. I call that indirect defense. JJ was good at that.

Center targets for trade in different categories:

    Semi-Realistic
    Kessler

    Realistic
Claxton - Still not sure BKN would do ot, but they are not going anywhere anyway, and he is 26, not 21-22 like Duren and Missi.
Allen - Maybe. But Cavs might not do it for right offer. Owner also hates us.
Ayton - Probably obtainable, but PDX might try to fleece us a little bit.

    Injury Prone Options
    Robinson - Maybe for Rui
Time Lord - Maybe for some expiring's and some swaps - but PDX will want to fleece us.

    Unrealistic
Duren - Don't see why Det would do it
    Gafford - Bad look
    Williams - Burnt bridge
Missi - Don't see why NOP would do it.
Okongwu - No reason for ATL to do this .

    Draft Options

    Trade-up
Yanic Konan-Niedenhausen - lob threat big 7-0 245 and athletic. Currently projected in mid 30's but probably low 20s.

    55th pick
Slim pickings here for the specific things we want from our big.

    Free Agency

    Capela
    Sims

Think it just got even less realistic today and I think it had already gotten to really slim odds.

We did trick Ole Danny into helping us get Luka.

Then today they doubled up on the Ainge.
