i don't think he's plan A at all--luka wants a lob threat, and we need mobility on the back line to play how jj wants. i think jj was bracing everyone for the possibility we can't land that, though. or maybe posturing a bit for negotiations.

looking back, It really strange that they Lakers didn't move to get Sharpe in the DFS trade as well.
That would have been killing two birds with one stone and Sharpe isn't that tall and springy lob threat, but the dude is physical and will go up strong. He's basically a super charged Jemison. his advanced metrics all check out

The night we got eliminated - my gawd, I was thinking this team was good enough to make it into June, and they didn't even hit May! - I'ze a predictably despondent Laker fan.

Three days later, and I find Lebron suffered a Grade 2 MCL strain (4-5 weeks) and AR wouldn't even walk on days off, so painful was his sprained big toe.

I'm not glad they're injured, but from the goofy area of Fan's Logic, I feel a lot better: even if we win Game 1, and somehow knock out MIN in the 1s round, Lebron wouldn't have been able to play the next round or two or three. And AR would've been aggravating an already stifling injury, given his type of game.

So: oddly, even idiotically, I'm a lot better today about us getting whacked early. Go figure.

Rabid sports fandom seems irrational to me on just about every level. And yet: here I am. Here we are. All I have to say is that: a lot of the best spices of life aren't "rational." Music as some sort of evolutionary stable strategy seems dubious at best. But where would we be without it?

Let us pick our irrationalities wisely though.

I’m out on Lopez- I want guys much closer to Luka’s age, or can at least rebound the ball- like Aquaman.

GSW and Houston will play game 7 at Houston ,another traditional center Adams helped today and Kerr could lose series after being 3-1 for second time

If you look at and watch the first clip Weezy put up: it's the GSW broadcaster Bob Fitzgerald, the most homer announcer in the universe: somehow, if the refs just saw that little maybe foul on Van Vleet, then the Draymond thing would mean nothing. They think Draymond is perfectly clean. Maybe misunderstood.

It's just one of the reasons why - I live in the Bay Area - I can't stand the effing Warriors: their fans (a lot of them) think this POS is "great".

Fitzgerald and Azubuike as the most homerish announcers. Just nauseating. I've told friends who are longtime GSW fans that I'd not hate their team quite as much if they just fired this a-hole and re-hire an actual adult.
