Today it was 118 at 2:30 so it possibly made it to 120. I went inside after that

The bad thing about today was it was humid so it was miserable here today

 

This will also likely be how we will end up with Trae Young.

I remember how frustrating it was watching Westbrook get lost on defense… and Trae is actually a much worse defender than Westbrook.

I just hope the front office has learned from that experience.

BREAKING: The Brooklyn Nets have agreed in principle on a trade to send F Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks for Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick via Bucks, an unprotected pick swap and a second-rounder, sources tell ESPN.

 

is this real? after all the "we're building around bridges" stuff, they move him for an expiring and picks? iirc, the knicks' picks aren't even very good.

edit: it is real. and the knicks are moving their own unprotected picks. the latter two might be worth something, i guess.

if we had the expirings, i'd have probably offered that much for bridges.

 

Jeezus is that guy worth 4 unprotected picks seriously? I watched all the FIBA games with Austin and yeah he was fine but didn’t leap off the screen to me ….. granted didn’t follow him this season.

 

as i said above, the first two...meh. the 2029 and 2031 (and mayyybe the 2028 swap) are a bit dangerous.

be curious to see if we were even in on the bidding. contrary to your thoughts, i think this is a low price because no prospect went bkn's way.

also wonder how this affects nyk's other plans. they do this to offset the sting of maybe letting OG walk? use it as leverage there? is randle being offloaded?

love that ny is gearing up to challenge boston. can't have the whole entire eastern conference just fold.

 

He's definitely a very solid player, and IMO a great fit for what the Knicks want to do. Decent enough shooter for them not to miss Bojan for the added stuff Bridges provides. Overpay? Sure. But the East is wide open sans C Bags. Knicks are buzzing for the first time in a while. Gotta make swings. I like it all things considered.

Based off of what criteria? They are in two entirely different worlds, as far as roles. Grant is a 1st option guy, Rui is our 5th. It's hard to look at some stats without that context.
