Always have a soft spot for Stan: got humbled and was willing to do all the dirty work his last stint with the Lakers. Hoping he can find a place in the league

Stan playing pretty well as an actual wing sized guy and Austin showing flashes were basically the only bright spots in that miserable 2022 season. I will always be grateful to Stan for that lol.

If he can hit the 3: he's a nice addition for small ball as he's got legit bulk (ala PF strength in SF body)

I like Stanley but his inability to shoot the ball makes him a huge liability when you need offense. We already have Vando so it's already difficult to find playing time for Stanley when the Lakers need shooters.

If he was able to shooting 36% from three, he'd be signed to a team by now. Just playing solid defense and being a grunt defensively isn't enough.

So a lot of veterans could going to England finish their career.l

Manchester is in line to host regular-season NBA games, and the league’s growing relationship with Abu Dhabi could eventually lead to a Manchester City team playing in a proposed NBA Europe competition.

The NBA has declared its intent to expand
into Europe, where it feels the game is commercially underdeveloped. Joining forces with City would allow the world’s second-richest sporting league (behind the NFL) to explore burgeoning partnerships with Middle East oil states, that — because of restrictive NBA ownership regulations — are limited in the United States.

The NBA is expected to announce a multi-year deal to play regular-season games at Manchester’s 23,500-capacity Co-op Live arena, which would make it Europe’s largest basketball venue, starting possibly as early as next season. The arena, worth £365million, is majority owned by the City Football Group.
But how they going to play regular games there with all load management and long flights ?

Every single McClung's dunk was a push off. They look hella cool but are way easier than they actually are.

The All Star weekend is so boring. I remember when the game and the weekend used to be so exciting. Wish we could just skip it and get back to real basketball.

i think they were "looking into" filing a complaint. my guess is they realized it would go nowhere.

still begs the question why they would allow that to leak without immediate rebuttal.

all they had to do was deny it; say something like "sure, we discussed internally whether this was even allowed, as we were shocked by their findings, which didn't match our own. but we're happy to have mark back."

5 years after Mike's last ASG i stopped watching it. Tuned in for a slam dunk contest (Vince, J-Rich) here and there and that was it. I know a 2794684 better things to do with my free time.

This was the first All Stat Saturday night that I didn't at least have on as background noise. Watched The Gorge instead.

I'll keep watching the Sunday game as long as we're represented. The was about to come to an end and then we went out and got Luka.

It's still on the verge of complete and utter collapse. Haynes reported that the players are going to get a reminder before the game of the corporate significance they take this thing seriously. That's always a great sign.

:p = me here with push off but let me take a guess. Mac at the same split second he’s snatching the ball from the guy holding it …. to take it even higher for his dunks …. is also pushing “down” on it to leverage his jump some bit higher? :p …. me again that’s hard to understand. The guy holding it would have to have it held secure enough to make it possible since the dunker is going forward as well as upward and …. :p I would think the balancing act between pushing down on the ball and yet still grabbing it away from that at least semi-secure hold would be really hard. At the least how much downward pressure required to gain (one?) additional inch vertical for his 185lb mass?

I was on my phone and it wasn’t like looking at my computer monitor watching the replays. The one I also wanted to see in slo mo was the last one. Whatever site I was on with my search for who won didn’t show THAT one slowed down. So he had to bring his dunking ball down from a high enough angle to also jam through a 2nd ball the dude on the stepladder was holding over the basket?

And LOL wonder whose idea it was between CP3 and Wemby to cheat with the shots portion (not trying to make them) of their skills contest …. and get themselves disqualified? :D
