I'm saying they very well may make a rule to address situations like this in the future, but I'm not sure the league will have the stomach to make it retroactive and apply to us right now. Feels like something that may be addressed in the summer.

I get that those owners would love that, but I cannot see how the board of supervisors, Silver etc., could not do what is best for the league.

I mean, yeah. You can't give up your only - and significant - assets if the player you're trading for has serious health issues, come on. No sane front office would do that.

looks like the league agreed that whatever alarmed the lakers on the physical is indeed a big enough problem to justify rescinding the trade

What did Pelicans get back? Want to make sure @SentientMeat is still happy and following them. Lord knows he hasn't got time to follow all the teams where the "Kids" went.

raptors lowkey building a nice team. barnes, ingram, barrett, and a likely lottery pick in this year's draft

quickley and poeltl, too. problem is i'm not sure if barnes is a real #1, thus they're kind of stuck in that play-in nether region.

Like I said I think they can actually add an official exception in the rule book that anyone can use. If there is an unforeseen medical outcome, the team that found the medical issue can subtract from the trade or the team that didn’t disclose the issue can make additions to the trade.

It seems Iike a good addition into these outcomes. And could avoid rescinded trades. Like abeer said, even adding protections.
