One of the greats, someone who celebrated the players that came along and the sport in general rather than s*** on it for cheap laughs

even if wood gets healthy enough to play, how much of a difference maker will he be with all that rust? not like he's all that great to begin with anyways

i'd rather they just bring in a vet like olynyk, theis, reed, etc

I think the plus with Woods is he has played with Luka and they have that familiarity.

Listened to him since I was a young pup all the back in the mid 1980s.
He was the Most Unbiased East Coast dude when calling national Laker Games. Most of the hacks back then and up until today are too unintelligent to hide their blatant Laker hate. Come to think of it, I respected his takes over everyone else not named Chick.

it sucks for embiid and philly, but this is just kind of the situation.

i'm still personally annoyed that AD got all the heat he did while embiid got an mvp, but these exceptional bigs are at the limits of human physiology.

shaq was; dwight was, too. bill walton, sam bowie, etc. what makes them special makes them vulnerable to injury.

I was watching a sports medicine doctor review AD injury and he was saying it’s not exactly a sports hernia but it’s in the same area.He expected AD to me out a few weeks and if he wasn’t careful it could turn into surgery.

Oooof. This poor guy’s not going to want to be seen in public most likely. Definitely stay away from ALL social media.

Yeah, the situation sucks right now, but it is what it is. I think Hayes has played well, but I think he's better in a more limited role; we all know he shouldn't be a starter and likely better slotted as the backup. The names on the buyout market don't excite me at the center position, but we need another big body. Maybe somebody will shake loose, and that will surprise us...

I agree with the names @JSM mentioned for the summer, too. I also support the idea that we should go after and scour college basketball and see if we can find a player in the draft. I'd be busy scouting centers; there are advantages financially (cheap rookie contract) that we can utilize if we nail a decent player example Lively in Dallas...

with KC's super bowl loss, the lakers are still the last team in the 4 major NA pro sports to win 3 straight championships
