He's probably not going to play at all this year. He could be a useful piece next year if he regains form, but it does seem like he's been trending down the last couple of years. If there's an $11 million-ish backup 2 that we can get for him great, but I'd also be fine keeping him around.

If Brown does get bought out we should be all over it. He hasn't looked like the same guy, but on a buy out its close to no risk all reward.

Yeah I like him too and he could definitely serve a role in our roster. Not only the vet experience but also being a 4 that can play 5 is something we would like to have. Fits the switch everything too.
But he's out injured this year, so I understand wanting to use that contract for someone who plays

Thing is, we can only trade him solo
He earns 11mil, so we can't get more than that. Looking at the list of players, I can't see anyone around that price that I like.

Pat Connaughton is my favorite. He fell a bit recently, but he would be a nice fit. I imagine he picks up his option and we have a good expiring next year. He may be in the Smart to Bucks trade so we may get in on that. Then Okoro or Okogie, but they are pretty rough on offense. Kennard is a Knecht replacement and I rather get a Max replacement.
But well, we're living crazy times,so maybe we get Amen Thompson lol
Bruce is awesome. Wanted him before Luka and still think he fits really well with this group. But we can't sign him as a buyout because we are in the 1st apron. So it's impossible to get him this deadline.

Zo signed a 2 year $20 million dollar deal and he's still trade eligible? Just saw that and the Ingram news. Didn't see where Poetl was included...

Torrey Craig and Chris Duarte are 2 guys I like in the buyout.
We are 7mil short off the 1st apron. If we could get there, which is hard now, Brown and Schroder could be available

My bad it was Brown and Olynik for BI. Just saw a The Athletic update flash on my phone earlier.

Gonna be surprised if we don’t grab Reggie Jackson once he’s waived.

Yeah, the entire dynamic with Denver has changed. The last two years we've gone blow-for-blow with them for 3 quarters, but down the stretch of the 4th their halfcourt offense has been more reliable and they've generated better shots. Now we have the 2nd best halfcourt offensive weapon in the league next to Jokic. Luka can matchup hunt Jokic again, and again, and again. They only have one Aaron Gordon, so one of LeBron or Luka is going to have MPJ on them in crucial moments. It's an entirely different matchup now.
