I've always thought that 2021 Bucks team that won the title was pretty fraudulent. I think we, the Nets and the Clippers were all better teams that year but were wiped out by injuries. That said, it does kind of suck that they never really got the chance to defend that title. Middleton got hurt and missed the 2022 playoffs. Then Giannis gets hurt at the end of the regular season in back-to-back years and they lose in the first round. They did put up a valiant effort against the C Bags in 2022, I respected them more after that series than I did after the title.

i'd say the harden teams generally featured a lob threat at center--until they, too, blew that up for westbrook.

AR probably goes to the bench to give the Lakers a significant upgrade at sixth man. He could also be traded. OKC makes some sense. In theory LAL could get a 3 and D athletic guard like Dort, and see if OKC could also include some draft capital that we could use I'm other trades for a center, or make it a multi team deal.

Durant in the GSV, Butler in Suns, Wiggins in Heat. Just now, according to Stein's info, a new trade rumors, but GSW are going to be over the salary cap by 24 millions, and for this to work they should be moving Green somewhere too
And for now The Suns payroll and tax bill for this season is at $380.8 million. No other team is at $300 million.

    Would you do:

    KCP, Bitadze and Cory Joseph
    for
    Reaves, Vincent, Wood and Kleber
    2025 DEN FRP

    We start:
    Luka, KCP, DFS, Bron, Bitadze
8 man rotation with Rui, Vando and Knecht. With Joseph, Milton, Reddish and Hayes as fringe players. Plus a spot left for a buyout

KCP is 31 and has 2 more years in his contract at 21mil. He's the best possible fit to Luka and Bron. We get a much needed POA defender. We keep our wings and get a solid center that can thrive in this role.

I feel we may be selling low AR for an immediate need, but the fit is really seamless.
I think we can get their 2025 Denver FRP, because they have no expirings and hold their own. A FRP has a mandatory contract so you need a roster spot.

Yeah I started seeing stuff about this last night and I do not understand it for the Suns at all. If you're the Suns, just cut out the middle man (Butler/Miami) and trade KD to the Warriors to recoup assets! I don't understand making yourself an even worse version of your current team by doing a KD/Butler swap even if it comes with some draft capital.

We are not going to get equal value for Reaves who has one of the best if not best contract in the NBA. Reaves should only go out for a real superstar IMO.

Why does everyone want to trade a young developing player who is already very productive, has the "it" factor, and is playing on the best contract in the league? We haven't seen him play a single game with Luka yet and you're already sending him packing.

    Plus, you can't aggregate Kleber.

If its something like Miami saying hey you can have Bam for Reaves/Rui/whatever, that's the kind of deal I seriously consider doing for Austin. But right now we have the ability to have 2 high-level creators out there for 48 minutes (Luka is an elite offensive engine, LeBron is a level below that, Austin is probably two levels below that but still really damn good). Luka/LeBron/Austin all together gives us an extremely high floor on offense.

If KD goes to Dubs, Draymond has to be out, right? We taking Dray somehow? Hope not. But the ball handling and movement would be interesting.

Kyle Kuzma 2024-25 stats: 15 PPG on 42/28/60 shooting splits, 6 rebounds, 2.5 assists in 28 MPG. Wizards have -10 NET with Kuzma OFF, -20 NET with Kuzma ON
Kyle Kuzma has been one of the worst players in basketball this season, managing to have a sub 50% TS on a star-level usage rate (27%).

Kuzma's Win Shares this season are negative, -1.3 to be exact.

Kuzma's -5.4 BPM is tied for 3rd worst in the NBA for all players who qualify based on minutes, only ahead of Isaiah Collier, his fellow teammate Kyshawn George, and is tied with another of his teammates, rookie Bub Carrington. Given that the other 3 players aren't at the legal drinking age, there is a valid case for calling Kuzma the worst player in basketball this season.

and some of you wanted us to trade for him

Yes, they would need to getb rid of Dray for that to happen. I am not sure what the Warriors are trying to do at this point. They aren't getting anywhere, it's over.
