So, I think it would be weird to do, but I could see SOME GOOD TRADE coming out of GSW IF they wanted LeBron. I don’t love it, but I could see it in a way that is a “rebuild” but helps us in a year or so from now.

but truthfully, there has to be something somewhere. Capela seems plausible. I WISH we could figure out Zion, but I doubt New Orleans wants to talk again.

is it still worth going after what’s his face in Washington? Hell, what if we traded for him and Kuz? I feel like another pick to Washington might be worth that.

Kessler still seems the better direction. I MIGHT be willing to add Reaves to it for Sexton but who is a better plug in that situation.

man this trade turned things upside down in wild ways and I have no clue what to expect. I do want to watch and see what happens with this team now, so I game or two before the trade deadline and more stuff happening is fine with me.

Well, after reflection I still hate the trade. I think it was unwise to give up a unicorn two way big for an out of shape Luka who I question the seriousness of. Some folks seem enamored of Luka's game but I still take AD over him any day. And I really liked how Max Christie had developed into a two way player as well with tons of upside and a bright future.

I would have preferred using both FRP's on Kessler to this trade.

You may be the only person to say that. There are several players in the league you don't trade for Luka: Jokic, Wemby and maybe Shae. That's it. Luka could be eating nachos & queso during the halftime show for all I care, he's still going to be better than AD and he's 25 years old. He is the future of the team.

On the other hand, Dallas has a historically great collection of 2nd option players: Klay, Kyrie and now AD.

Apples and oranges to me. I would trade AD for Jokic, Wemby or Giannis but that's about it. I covet big men. That's the Lakers to me. And AD is the best two way in the league.

I don't trust Luka. I don't like that his injuries are basically self inflicted because he's out of shape.

No way we can do both Luka and Zion. They would be having an eat off every night and there’d be no more food for the rest of the team.

Luka could gain 50 more pounds and be a better player than AD. And I think AD is something like the 8th or 9th best player in the league.

Obviously the best big is Myles but I doubt he’s available but who can really be certain now.The next big I would target is Jacob P.He’s the best defender of the rest of the big man targets

NO. Reaves is superlative value on his contract and the CONNECTOR to make all this work. Now and post LeBron.

yeah despite the possible clunky fit that might mean Reaves moves to the bench due to too many ball handlers, I wouldn't consider trading Reaves, unless we're talking about a near-all-star-level caliber center coming back opposite in the deal.

as of now, luka, vando, reaves, knecht, and shake milton are the only guys under contract past next year.

if anyone's scheduled to be a FA that year...

That's Cap. I understand the enthusiasm, but that is Cap my guy. Anthony Davis is a 1st Ballot HOF bro, and might just end up, with more Championship rings than Luka.

Right. We'd have to annex Colorado to feed these two.
