If this guy is legit, and first off, that's freakin' hilarious to call this 3 years ago, then Vuc is off the table.

 

I feel like this was a shadow move to free up some room for more deals. Probably a genius move, and Utah walks away with 2 more draft picks.

Also, maybe it's a way for us to get that center, but not tie the two deals together "officially" since matching payroll and perceived value are harder for a low dollar contract guy.
