All Star Weekend has been boring for so many years now. We’ve occasionally had a good Dunk Contest, but that’s about it.

That reminded me of the 2 time defending champ ex Laker Mac McClung (the guy we let go so we could concentrate on Pip Jr. just so we could let him go too) So I did a search to see if he was even still in the G-League. I copied this below of the AI answer up top.

No, Mac McClung is no longer in the G League:

    • 2023-24 season
McClung played for the Osceola Magic, the G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, and was named the 2023-24 NBA G League MVP.

    • 2024-25 season
McClung signed a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic, which will allow him to compete for a roster spot with the parent club.

Not sure about the top statement as that's part of being on a 2-way contract. But did anyone know he won MVP of the G-League last year?

I agree. I am not sold on AD's three-point shooting yet. There could be spacing issues, like with Russ. That's why I am also not part of the trade picks for Kessler and start AD at power forward crowd either. But, Zion is the type of player that the Lakers would shell out the two picks for. I realize that what I want them to do and what the Lakers want to do may not be the same.
