Because it's nonsense. SF/PF are basically interchangeable today. And Lebron is still a better wing defender than Rui right now.

What is Lebron James? A small forward, playing as a power forward.

I thought he was a PF playing as a PG. Or is that a point forward? Maybe he's a douche masquerading as a Laker all time great pretending he doesn't manipulate coaching hires or free agent signings. Can't be sure these days.

It’s started to get extremely convoluted like Futbol. Guess my wife will be happy since I will be watching a lot fewer games. I think this is going to backfire with a lot of fans unwilling to pay for that many services.
Greed, isn’t good, unless you are the controlling O.5%.

He is better guarding 4/5 than 2/3. He looks pretty lean right now though. Maybe there is something happening behind the scenes where he is preparing to guard 2/3s, and feels he will be able to do so due to increased stamina from playing 100% off the ball?

Sure, offensively the forwards positions are interchangeable but defensively its different.

Theres a difference between guarding Aaron Gordon around the paint and chasing MPJ around the perimeter. KAT and McDnaiels. Etc etc.

I wouldn't put it past Rob though. This FO has a history of looking for great value trades instead of nailing our targets.

Apart from AD of course. But look at Rui, Dlo or Vando for example. They weren't necessarily major trade targets, but opportunities that presented themselves before the deadline.

Understood..but again, I believe Lebron is still better than Rui or Austin at doing it. NO..I don't think he can handle a high end two, but he still can hold his own against a Gordon or MPJ..etc. Those guys aren't as quick as shooting guards, and James is still a big dude, a lot of smaller guys won't be looking forward, to setting picks on him.

I wonder if we could build a good defence around Brook Lopez and AD. Brook has shown to be a good rim protector, and AD is obviously one of the best defensive players playing today. The offensive fit is good too with Brook's shooting and playmaking. But can teams just play 5 out and target Brook? But in that case, we could just move AD to the 5.

In an ideal world it would be nice to get a Brook and a 3&D wing like DFS or Jerami Grant.

    Then you can play:

    Lebron
    Reaves / Gabe
    Grant
    AD
    Lopez

    And when we go small:

    Gabe
    Reaves
    Grant
    Lebron
    AD

Since Utah and Detroit are the only teams with cap space remaining, I’ve been curious on who still has the NTPMLE to spend (was wondering if anyone could outbid our TPMLE if we freed it up).

    Record breaking numbers in Phoenix

The Suns are the first $400M team in payroll

    Salaries: $223M

    Projected tax: $198M

The Okogie signing is smart and gives Phoenix a $8M trade asset to use during the season.

Because of the rules of the 2nd apron, his salary cannot be aggregate with other players on the Phoenix roster.

The contract had to be 2 years because he was signed with early bird rights.

Yes even at 36 Lopez will be perfect to play with AD and LeBron and a coach, but everyone remembers that he played here when Luke was a coach and Randle with Lonzo were our stars . The problem he's getting paid 23 millions

Vucevic and Grant would work better with the numbers.
