I remember Kuzma being almost unplayable in our 2020 playoff run, due to being a bad catch-and-shoot guy, extremely poor defender and super inconsistent offensively. He hasn't really improved his shooting, his scoring numbers went up just because he is the #1 option on a really bad team.

    I hate this move

I honestly liked Prince and hoped we could keep him. Oh well.

Grant is still the best option I see. He does improve the team because he’s a very good two way starter - something we don’t have currently to go along with AD and Lebron.

The other big problem I see with Rui is he got exposed in the playoffs. He just doesn’t have the basketball IQ to work for Redick and JJ doesn’t have time to develop him or get him to do what’s necessary to fit. There’s no Handy here to fix him. He just gets too lost especially on D.

Grant’s dad and uncle were pros. He’s got the pedigree and the right mindset for us right now. That’s valuable.

Kuz is a no go for me. Sorry.

What happened to the "NBA Insider" that claimed we were submitting paperwork on a Grant trade?

yeah, and washington would also feel like they lost, too, imo. the opposite of a good trade, lol.

i assume the price for grant and kuz is similar, and i'd be upset if we spent it on kuz instead.

also, rob was going to trade kuz for freaking hield, then shipped him for russ...i wonder if we don't hold him in the same level of esteem that the media continually suggests/insists.

yeah, the second apron probably meant he was gone. too bad for him (less $$) and us (fewer options if we trade rui or vando).

but if you're him, you know there are minutes in milwaukee and a guy there who thinks you may actually be jesus christ. hard to pass up.

guess lebron's financial flexibility knew bounds. so many bounds.

Hmm, yeah, actually seeing spelled out in players, no thanks, probably rather have the combo of Rui and Vando.

I like Kuz, but not if Vando and picks are involved, so I’m out.
I think trading for Grant is okay, but he’s not a big enough difference maker for me to get excited about.
    Are there any bigs left?
We desperately need one and if Rob can’t upgrade there, we are screwed.

Not as bad as one of the lottery kids this year. He was asked to name the top 4 players all time.

    His list:
    Wilt
    Kobe
    Ant
    Bam

Other argument against Kuzma is that in any trade that’s sending out DLo, I’ve been envisioning bringing back Dinwiddie in a bigger role.

I’m not sure Kuzma and Dinwiddie can play together. I know we’ve seen examples of players with beef with each other putting it aside when they join the same team, but Kuzma and Dinwiddie’s relationship seriously seems toxic
