I would have gladly brought Prince back but he'll probably get more minutes in Milwaukee. Redick seems serious about getting more minutes to Chirstie and throwing Knecht into the fire. We probably still get some spot Reddish minutes too.

I don't even think Kuzma is better than Rui. He's certainly not a better fit, as Rui is a much better shooter and slightly better defender.

if this is all the FO has to improve this team, my mind is blown.

It all depends on what we're giving up to get Kuzma...if it's DLO/Vincent/JHS/plus picks, it's a terrible terrible terrible deal

If it's Vincent/JHS/Wood/Hayes/Reddish/2nd round picks, then I'll gladly take it.

Also - good riddance to Taurean Prince. Of course he ends up on the Bucks where Ham is...he wasn't going to get minutes here now that his boy Darv aint here anymore...so yeah he made the right decision.

I'd rather have Rui/Vando/Christie/Knecht get minutes than Taurean at this point anyways. Taurean was literally put on the opposing team's best perimeter player NIGHTLY and he was far from that guy on that end but we made him out to be this "great defender" somehow...but he would get torched nightly and his effort was pathetic on that end at times.

Interestingly enough - Vincent/JHS/Wood/Hayes/Reddish in terms of salary = $22.84M

Kyle Kuzma is sitting at $23.52M - so we're about $678k short...

I say Gabe, Rui and both firsts for Grant. And then JHS, Hayes and 2nds for any big with a pulse.

What does a Gabe, Vando and Reddish for Kuzma deal actually do for us? Feels like a sidestep mostly. I guess we consolidate roster spots.

If it involves sending a 1st round out, we’d be losing pretty clearly.

Not arguing for it, just pointing out there is a make-able trade there.

We could use a couple of roster spots. It would strengthen our rebounding, tighten our rotation, give us a durable player, and up our pregame fashion statement.

Yeah, if you could guarantee that Vando will play at least 60 games this year, I would want to keep him for his defensive impact too.

Players like Grant or Kuzma aren’t going to change the mediocrity of this team. What a disappointment this off season is

Rui is not a better defender in any way. People seriously forget how good of a rebounder and defender Kuz was.

I don’t want Kuz back and would be very disappointed if that is our big off season move.
