Yeah I think Orlando should have aimed higher. They just got beat by the Cavs, they should have assembled a team to become better than them, they had the opportunity but they decided to run it back adding a nice complementary piece on KCP but they need more. DLo made a world of sense to them

I thought Spurs and Orlando would have been more aggressive, locking guys for multiple years before the big cap rise and raising their level. But they were more passive than I would have imagined
I don't think you understand how cap space works

    they really weren't, to us.

my greatest fear now is that clips get derozan, he balls out for a year, and it's all i get to hear about on this forum every day forever.

i will repeat: the only way for US to get derozan is to trade rotation players for him AND have lebron take a paycut. others don't have to do this. same with valanciunas or whoever becomes the new "shoulda got ol' whathisname"

How can the Clippers sign in him if not in a S&T. They signed DJJ with the MLE and are over the cap.

Regarding us, our plan A failed. Possibly plan B. It's not great. Let's see how we get out of it.
Last time we had a FA like this (2022), in Russ' second year where we run it back, we finish in the WCF in the end of the year after a good deadline trade for us. Maybe we repeat

he's so doing it. he'll cite the fact that we didn't want to trade dlo for him or something, then average 35ppg and develop a three point shot.

if he came here, we'd have paid him 20m per year to be a different version of russ.

yeah, my comfort is that historically when i'm pumped about an offseason, the next season is a disaster, and vice versa.

i like that they try to get digs in anyway, but they can't bring themselves to say something stupid like not trading rotation players for thompson and derozan makes you a huge loser. they rightly point out that several competitors have flat out lost talent. at least we haven't done that.

WTF ..... over? HIM was in your country creating a rock star like frenzy wherever he went, and played really well alongside and compared with the "superstars" and "stars" .... and same as here Kerr had HIM in the games in crunch time over some of those guys. And YOU didn't even tune in one game?

Austin is really disappointed in you .... even Cuban!

Agreed. He'd be insanely useful for even 20mpg during the playoffs.

Defensive potential is massive. I get re-signing him, but that's heftier than I anticipated.

Saric marca triple double against Luka. He's a nice pick up that could salvage this offseason

I hope we are not trading Knecth until we see how he looks in the NBA. I have hope the guy can turn into a legit 2nd or 3rd option due to his profile and scoring ability. Looking at his profile, it's not a stretch to say the dude could be a top 3 pick if he was 20/21 years old.
