I'm guessing DLo stays and Dennis is out, but we've seen crazier things. Who knows, maybe there's no market for Dennis and we keep them both?

i said that off dlo as well...gabe signing seems unneeded imo. 1 playoff run gets him $ like this?

I’m calling my shot (complete guess)….

Lakers will sign Dwight Howard for the minimum.

I think it’ll just be DLo, as we’d have DLo, Vincent, JHS, Reaves, and Max, that’s a lot of guards. But for the minimum if he had no market, sure I’d take Dennis back, Ham would too, we’d see 4 guard lineups while Ham stands there arms crossed drooling.

oh GOD. I forgot about this.

Ugh someone make me feel better about this...only thing I can think of was he was CLUTCH in the playoffs. Like REALLY clutch. He was hitting pull-up jumpers off one dribble with game on the line type of CLUTCH.

in fairness, a few weeks back i was thinking he might fetch more than this number. but yeah, guard depth wasn't a problem at the outset of FA.

He’s a very solid player, you want guys who up their games in the playoffs, he was an undrafted backup and made it to winning playoff games. Also it’s only 11 mil per, if it doesn’t work out that’s a very moveable contract. The Nunn thing isn’t really comparable unless Vincent also gets the worst bone bruise in history.

Did Rob knee jerk and overpay Vincent for a good playoff run, meaning he’s super down on DLos playoff woes?

I think before knowing the full picture how can it be said it's that good or that bad.

    There's so many scenarios.
I like Gabe as a player. And I like Prince as a player. That's all I know at this point. Without knowing the rest of the signings it's useless to take any cap implications conclusions

It’s not a terrible number for Vincent. If he plays like he did in the playoffs it’s a large underpay, if he plays like regular season it’s a slight overpay.

I wonder if we let DLO go if we can’t get it done and bring Schroeder back. I’m sad to see him go, he was a solid contributor.

Is he better? Did you watch Vincent during these most recent playoffs? He was really good on both ends.

Hmm, well apparently he did suggest to Vincent that the starting PG spot was potentially his…

I'm not counting on JHS getting minutes this year, and maybe they don't see Max entirely ready (personally, I want Max to be an everyday rotation player). Also, given DLo's injury history, there may be minutes available. In all likelihood, Dennis is gone, but I wouldn't be shocked if he somehow found his way back.

    We need a big…

Bamba back on the minimum? Sell Christian Wood on a Malik Monk type of situation on a minimum? DLo sign and trade?

I’m in the minority, but I like the signing. I would have rather spent the money on a big, but who were we going to get?
    Plumlee? Not very exciting.
At least Vincent has shown that he can play when the chips are on the line and his contract is very tradeable. He plays solid D ad well.
I bet we bring back Bamba at a smaller price.

Wow. If we were going to let DLo walk, what could we even offer Dennis?
