I feel like we're victim to the moment. Bates-Diop was "solid" on one of the worst teams in the league. Yuta shot 44% from 3, on a whopping 2 attempts per game. Metu couldn't get off the bench in Sacramento. Suns have used minimum contracts on minimum level players.

I'm not hating on it, but I've been seeing people clamoring for Yuta over the past week. He's fine, but he's a minimum level player for the end of the bench.

Milton is bigger and a much better shooter than Vincent, and he went for 5 mil.

wow lookin deeper into the numbers - I'm reallyyyy not understanding why we got Vincent.

His splits for the year are terrible:

    9/3/2 on 40/33/87 splits in 26mpg

    Schroder was at:
13/5/3 on 42/33/86 numbers. And he's a better defender and he has familiarity with our system?

Vincent played well in the playoffs so I'll give him that - but this signing doesn't make much sense. He's not a great shooter. He's short. He's not as good defensively at Schroder...and he doesn't have familiarity with our system? What happened to running it back with the same team and filling in the gaps? This isn't filling in the gaps...this is downgrading imo.

I hope I'm wrong but I hate this signing the more I look into it....

Felt like Dennis deserved a raise by us. The guy played his *ss off for the vets minimum. Not in love with the Vincent signing at all.

Lakers perhaps see Vincent more as "making a splash" then boring Carter or Milton signings, since Vincent came up clutch in the playoffs. Maybe they also see his playoff performance as kind of an offset to Dlo's poor offseason performance? Still not super enthusiastic about a 6-3, 34% career 3 point shooter, who shot 33% last season. What are Vincent's career playoff stats?

Wouldn't signing Schroder for cheaper be a better deal?

Gabe only got burn due to mia injuries…. He pretty much was a bench player. This is so horrible. I thought Rob was better than this. I’m so disappointed.

yeah, can't lie. i like vincent, but i'd rather go with dlo/schroder. i guess if we s&t'd dlo for a big i liked, i'd forgive, but early judgment: boo.

like prince at 1/5. that's solid value in a role of need.

yeah, i'd like to hear, too. don't get me wrong. vincent showed up bigger when it was important, but the rest of the season matters, and he wasn't a world beater. he's not overpaid relative to market, but what's DS going to go for? who are we letting go to make it happen?

glad we didn't spend a full mle on eric gordon, though. that had me scared for a minute.

man I am not really happy with Vincent

looking at his stats before these playoffs, they are pretty poor.
