Just when I thought my dislike for the Clippers could not get any greater.

Has there been a player who has run from responsibility as much as Harden?
Not being happy with Kryie on the Nets was understandable but now you're pulling the same stuff in Philly when you're on a team with Embiid and Maxey?

I agree in principle but they always sounded over high on Maxey. If they believe he can be a co-star, they still have Tobias big contract to get a star elsewhere to add to Clippers depth

    They may go after Dame

Don't know his market, but if he's available at the min, could be our reclamation project of this year

If true, and I’m just saying IF because even common sense says this is the sort of deal we’re looking at, I love the Clippers gutting their depth for another star. We have just watched 2 stars and solid role players win titles years in a row now, but sure, go the 3 star route

Oh yeah. If Harden is their power move with all those juicy contracts, I love it.
If this deal happens, I don't think someone will ever trade for Kawhi, PG and Harden so they will start from scratch most certainly

    PLEASE make it happen

Fascinating that the Houston interest was all coming from Harden's camp

I'd love to get Lopez for the TPMLE but he's not leaving Milwaukee for that.

It's either or, not both. We need wing help and a center still. In that scenario, our only remaining asset is the BAE.

And the Cam mentions are back!

why draft a guard when you're going after all these guards/sfs? Roster construction again tilting way too small here.

We are not in a position to play rookies so we draft for the future. Bet on upside like with Reaves and Max.
How many rookies played consistently in a contending team this year? Braun? And even he had Snaps in postseason

have a hard time believing morey will eat morris in a harden deal. revoke his credentials if so. powell/mann is fair return--not great--but fair, given the circumstances.

i'd like to see us make some under the radar moves and skate under all the phx/lac hoopla.

Lebron isn’t a 3 any longer. Vando guards 3’s better than Lebron and Rui. All 3 guys are probably best suited as PFs truthfully.

I didn’t leave Max out, I just didn’t put any third stringers in. That’s why the rookies aren’t there either. Gabriel should be third string too, but we’re a little light on bigs in that scenario.

In my mind, max plays mostly SG due to his weight and POA capabilities, I think SF is asking a bit too much from him. And he’ll be behind Reaves and Brown in the rotation.

do the clippers even have any "good young players" aside from mann and maybe hyland?

harden for PG makes the most sense

Harden opted in, it’s different than him being under contract - he did it to get Philly some assets on his way out and retain his wage slot for them. So I think he goes for much less than what people think he is worth.
