Why are they giving picks? Crazy that Chris Paul ends up getting better assets to Wizards than Beal or Porzingis. What a steal

Like Poole in Washington too, see how good he is playing free. He either shows he's a real deal or he'll be the next Jordan Clarkson at best

yeah...would the 40th pick + our expirings do it? problem is beasley by himself is juuuuust under what it takes to match on them, and beasley + bamba is too much going the other way. we also talked about washington being a good S&T destination for russell, with those guys coming back. their salaries are in the range discussed for dlo.

i wouldn't give up the 17 for this, though.

That’s wild, they gave up draft picks to get rid of him, they wanted him GONE. Guess that means they choose Draymond.

Salary dump makes some sense but man. What a turnaround from their position on Poole.

i figured poole was going to move; didn't expect it to be for cp3. now that it happened, it makes sense. love cp as a backup pg on the warriors, obviously. he and steph can help preserve each other a bit.

washington has to pay someone, and maybe poole regains his mojo. i get why they had to pay to get off him, though.

Donkey ended Pool's career LOL. As for CP3, f*** him and thank God, he'll never wear P&G.

Initial reaction is that this is a solid trade for GSW. I thought they would have to pay much more to get off Poole’s contract. Poole looked like one of the worst players in the league IMO in our playoff matchup, and his contract is atrocious.

So I don’t look at it as paying that draft compensation for Chris Paul. I look at it as paying that draft compensation to get off Poole’s contract, with CP3 being the bonus

Super happy to never have a broken down shell of CP in P&G. That would have been a disaster.

Also congrats Golden State for getting rid of Pool. He always rubbed me the wrong way and his mouth is bigger than his game.

Also glad that this probably points to Dray returning to the Warriors.

Missing out on CP3, Donkey and Kyrie will be a great freakin off-season. If we can sign and trade DLO, it will be even more awesome.

Wow, that's a surprising one. Makes sense, GS tried to work a CP3 deal with the Suns before they did the Washington deal. Would've thought Poole had higher value, but the playoff collapse + everyone hating him didn't do him any favors. He'll do better in DC. Zero pressure.

CP gives the Splash Bros some rest and helps when they're out.

Thank the heavens we didn't get CP3. That annual injury is gonna destroy them.

Have to lol at the warriors. They sure fumbled the golden transition to young players with Wiseman, Kuminga, and Poole.

So Draymond beats him up and gets him traded to a sinking franchise. Yikes. That's gotta be tough even for a millionaire like Poole. Lol.
