Who said anything about keeping him? Personally I would let him walk so the Lakers could use the ntpmle

Ouch..just letting him walk, looks pretty bad on Rob though. I would rather flip him for something, he'd fit on a team without playoff aspirations.

Looking bad on Rob, means that he's mismanaging the personnel, that is a problem. You end up overpaying in order to address your missteps.

He can be traded, I'm not in favor of just letting him walk.

But we have to stop that crap Kareem. Learn from your mistakes, or perhaps you were the mistake.

We'll see Kareem, one of her brothers might want that job. He can still stay in the organization. This is a critical offseason for Rob IMO..

    Some more historic facts .
Only two teams in the history of the league, having lost the playoffs with a deficit of more than 40 points, won the series:

1956 NBA Western Division Semifinals 2-1

1956 NBA Western Division Semifinals Game 2: St. Louis Hawks at Minneapolis Lakers 75-133

Game 3: St. Louis Hawks at Minneapolis Lakers 116-115 March 21, 1956 2-1

    in 1982 - Philadelphia 4-3 vs C Bags

    1982 NBA Eastern Conference Finals
    76ers vs. C Bags
    Game 1, May 9
    Philadelphia 76ers 81- Boston C Bags 121

    Revisionist history.

Rob has made a few mistakes. Every GM does. But don't blame him for stuff he was not responsible for. Magic made the call to let Randle walk.

A Mitchell/Max back court would be solid imo. Mitchell is one of the biggest Kobe fans in the NBA FWIW.
