I see he has good defense stats. Better shooter than I though and not quite as skinny/fragile as I thought. Idk thought, kind of duplication with AD no?

Kinda funny that of the players sent out for AD that he's the one we miss the most.

    3 teamer: Lakers, Bucks, Nets

Bucks get Claxton (reupped), DFS and Darvin Ham
    Lakers get Brook back
Nets get DLO, Hayes and some form of pick compensation from Lakers and Bucks (I know Bucks don't have a lot left to offer there)

Rather have Middleton.Seems like a better fit.AD ,Lebron,Middleton and AR as opposed to Lopez,AD and Lebron and AR.KM is also a shot maker.

Middleton would be great, but I wouldn't mind Lopez. He's still got some gas in the tank.

He’s the perfect player for any Coach who values defense.

Can't stand Pat Bev. Such an embarrassment that he was in the purple and gold even for a minute. My least favorite Laker ever.

If his skin was any thinner he'd be translucent. Wish the interaction was with one of the Joker brothers

The thing about getting Trae is, if you don't send out Dlo in a sign and trade, you end up loosing him for nothing, because it wouldn't make any sense to have both of them on the team.

"Third Star" type players that would fit with Dlo:

    1. Mitchell: Because Dlo is better off defending shooting guards due to his lack of speed. It is good that he is 6-4 with a good wing span. At 6-3, Mitchell is an undersized shooting guard on offense, so he is probably better defending point guards on defense. So the pair actually make sense in the back court together.

    2. Mikal Bridges: 3 and D wing. Clean fit. Bridges simply defends the best perimeter player. Not the ideal long term fit after Lebron retires, but we could cross that bridge later. Ball dominant types seem easier to find than off ball 3 and D tbh. We got Reaves undrafted. His low contract is also a huge plus.

    3. Markenan: Clean fit. Not the greatest defender, but he is tall, so he could defend the 6-10 small forward Porter from Denver. Lakers would then definitely have to put a defender at the two. They could go huge putting Vanderbilt there. One way defensive players are not that hard to find. I hate going with one-way players, but we could probably get away with it when you have elite shooting coming from a Markenan and a Dlo. His contract this year is also a huge plus.

I wouldn't consider Murray a third star. He is more going the "depth" route.

We need to find a team looking to rebuild with Reaves, Rui, JHS, three picks, three pick swaps, etc.

I agree with this. It is probably somewhere in between though. Whatever the case, we need to get something for Dlo, and surround Tre with defensive players if we go that route. Dlo + 2028 1st for DFS?

I've got him slotted in behind Smush for that honor.

JSM might have him behind a certain small forward from an earlier era with the initials Devean George. :Noddingyes:
