You know he's coming and this forum is going to blow the f*** up.

    Can't blame them.

    Will be entertaining, though.

Jokes aside, I don’t know what trade we will make but I do know that we should be listening to offers for anyone on the team. I prefer to keep AD but I’d listen to offers on him too. Hurts watching play hard with so much bad around him on the floor and holding the clipboards.

I think they can make a run for the next 2-3 seasons if they get this summer right.

Don't think AD is going anywhere unless LBJ bolts.

    Just don't see it happening.

    They'll do something this summer.

I expect him back and honestly think we can build around him. Have to worry if he can have another year of good health though.

This team will do nothing again next season with the LeBron\AD combo.
    It’s run its course.
I don’t even think Phil from 15 years ago could take this roster all the way.
Way too many defensive flaws, especially at the guard position.
I think LeBron will be back for one more season, but it’s not going to work, again. He’s too old and worn out by the time the playoffs roll around to even be your second best player.
I really hope they fail at trying to acquire Trae, but honestly, it doesn’t matter until they blow it up. Trae, AD, and an older LeBron still have zero chance of beating the Nuggets or Boston in a series.
As long as Jeanie and Co are making money, they will be happy.

^especially if Bron is on a max contract. He's just not worth that kind of money anymore. And with all the great teams out there, you cannot building a true contender with him at the max.

As long as Ham is gone, I’m good with most other moves we could make this summer

The market corrected itself a bit this year which may help us this summer. I don’t know that the names being tossed around are going to go for as high of a price as they might have in the past.

I’d probably start with a genuine effort to bring back Alex and see what big guys are available.

Meh..the right player changes everything. Kyrie would look good out there right now btw.

The West teams that don't get to the Finals this season, aren't just going to lay down, and do nothing this offseason either.

There hasn't been a team, making back to back, Finals appearances, in either Conference, since GS with KD.

I don't think the Nuggets get there, this season either. They aren’t some kind of budding dynasty in the making.

If we aren't making a run, changes are due.

Not sure who this is to but yes. I'd start with a defensive guard like Alex and a big guy. Add more from there.

I think we need to be creative and look for multiple moves.

I always liked the idea of getting Kyrie to LA and we could have had him for peanuts when he was in Brooklyn. Say what you want about him, but he doesn't shrink under the bright lights.

    another big mistake.

as i recall we tried, but they wanted everything we had, which was way over his market then and now.

The "insiders " said, that the only reason Kyrie wasn't a Laker, was because Rob didn't want, to sign off on a long-term deal.

We'd have 18...if we had made that trade.

    can we stop with this?

i'm not interested in the what-ifs next year about murray, for whom atlanta asked for basically the same stuff.
