Clippers trying to avoid Dallas

 

i actually think the clippers will luck out if it's dallas--whom they've beaten twice in basically the same situation--and dodge, say, phx.

for whatever reason, leonard just goes cyborg mode and destroys dallas. of course, if history is our guide, then he'll do that, and then basically blow out a knee in the process and the clips will lose to whomever makes the second round against them.

 

yeah, dallas is the best possible matchup for the clips considering they've owned them the last few years, even if kawhi is at less than 100%

they're screwed if he gets hurt though. PG/harden are not leading that team anywhere in the playoffs

luka individually owns booker. it's nowhere near as close between them as the media would want someone to believe. but it's a false comparison, as the real matchup there is durant, who remains the real star there. and booker is better than kyrie at this point, but dallas's 3-8 is better.

i want to see luka/jokic in a playoff series. that's closer to equal billing, and there's mutual respect and gamesmanship there that would be worth the price of admission.

imo, the booker/doncic thing is funny. one player is clearly far superior.
