    Wemby is somehow better than the hype. The kid might be a clear-cut Top 10 player next year and will be the best player in the league before too long.

    Understood, but we've all seen AD. Wemby was beyond hyped up and he's exceeding everything. First time this has happened to this magnitude since LeBron, perhaps?

    Block numbers will always get recognition too. Look at Camby winning DPOY. Nothing great aside from immaculate weak side help.

    i think there aren't great metrics to capture that AD can't be pick and rolled nor posted out of a game by anyone (*cough*gobert*cough*). you can say that for zero other players, though wemby is close and will get there if he can stay healthy and up his minutes/effort.

    man feel bad for the Knicks: got their act together. Took a risk on a hometown kid, pulled the lever on the OJ trade and their season gets derailed by injury.

    I'm bummed because I've really enjoyed watching the Knicks this year. With everyone healthy I think they're the 2nd best team in the East. Looks like its the C Bags in the Finals unless we get another miracle run from Miami.

    but but muh narrative!

    he clearly slipped, but it was a weird idea anyway. he might have also guessed wrong about zion's intentions. seems like he thought there would be a hesitation where he could swipe across with the inside hand, but a) there wasn't and b) his plant foot slipped so it ends up being a tackle.

    anyway, i don't think he meant to dive at his legs.
