even if they were to get past a team like OKC or minny, there's no chance they beat denver in a 7 game series unless jokic or murray get hurt. hell, they wouldn't even be able to beat the kings in a 7 game series

It's hard to say if we end up 9/10th at the moment. Dallas is in that 8th spot right now, but they've lost 3 straight games. Today we are 1/2 behind GS, but we have 2 games remaining against them, and they have 3 games left with Dallas.

It's premature to declare that all is lost, and we are stuck at 10th place. It's not like we are the only team that needs to win games moving forward. The Warriors and Mavericks do too.

As it stands right now, The 5th(NO) and 6th(Phx) slots, have to play the Flippers and Nuggets in the 1st rd. I'd rather not play either of them in the 1st rd anyway.

Everything is still up in the air at the moment.

Can we bet that? If it happens I leave. If it doesn't, you leave.

Looks like a classic loser leaves town match Gorilla Monsoon. Who knows, I assume they aren't room mates.

Not written in stone, that we'd have to play Denver at all. The Nuggets are good, but they aren't unbeatable. They are 5-5 in their division, and they haven't exactly dominated, in the other Conference games either.

Golden State is the last team to repeat as Conference Champions..I don't think the Nuggets get back to the Finals this season. They had a better team last season

They also seem to have a problem, beating Sacramento too btw.

There's also less reason to believe they can make a serious run this year. Last year we had real, sustained momentum after the trade deadline. We won a handful of games in that 18-6 stretch without LeBron. That team knew how it wanted to play, it had a defensive identity. They saw they really had something and believed they could win multiple rounds.

This year the team does not have a clear identity and doesn't know how they want to play. Players have been taking subtle to not-so-subtle shots at ham in the postgame interviews for months. They follow up truly galvanizing wins (@ Boston, OKC the other night) with pathetic performances like last night. They clearly don't believe Ham has or will put them in a position to succeed. In crunch time the Nuggets know they're going to the Murray/Jokic 2-man game, we still don't know what our bread-and-butter sets are. Darvin said last night that we need to figure this thing out. If you haven't figured it out after 64 games, you're not doing it in 18 games. I think there's a real possibility this team has an Eagles-esque flameout in the play-in.

Lakers will not lose to GSW in play inn or playoffs even if they would have to play on the Moon so they need to be in top 8 seed.

Meh..we don't have all of the same players, as last season either tho.

Folks like to overlook that Dennis Shroeder, avg 30min a game, and was also a part of that identity. Jarred Vanderbilt started 65 games during the regular season, and 13 of the 15 playoff games.

Lonnie Walker and even Troy Brown were getting minutes in the playoffs too.

These guys "griping" about playing time, actually are playing more minutes this season, than they did last season. It's more to it, than just...we have Austin, D'Angelo and Rui back from that team. Everyone has to step it up more IMO. They are capable, but some people, including them, might have thought, that it was going to be easier, or something this season.

Lol..For all you last season was such a great run folks. Let me remind you, that we had to beat Minnesota in the play-in game, in overtime. Or we would haved faced Denver in the 1st rd, instead of Memphis. Favorable matchups are extremely important too.

So..finishing out of the playin, isn't necessarily to be considered, this great sigh of relief, by any means.

Wrestling was kinda fun during the Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Wrestling #2 days for me. It's wild that the staged wrestling match era , started way back to right after the Civil War.

The sixth triple double in a row from Luka Doncic (39 + 10 + 10) helped Dallas defeat Detroit

Luka Dončić collect the sixth triple double in a row with 30 points or more and fifth in a row with 35 points or more scored.
