Houston is trying to be stacked for next year. They've done a pretty great job turning around their roster.

 

Sounds like the Nets had discussions across the league for the other team's best player who fits a more current timeline in exchange for Green. It was offered to the Nets for Bridges, as well.

 

I hate it

 

he's actually looked pretty decent to me when i've had the chance to see him (in the rare event he's on the floor). not as quick, but a rotation quality player due to skill/hoop iq. don't think he's getting bought out, though, because it looks like he (and maybe the hornets) is trying to milk his bird rights in the summer.

i'd have to think more about whether that could make any sense. at first glance, no.

yeah, there's a LOT more to whatever this story is.

 

i'm not sure you have a ton to worry about. i like several of their young players (sengun, smith, eason, in particular), but i'm just not seeing the stardom anywhere (yes, yes, i know sengun=jokic, but i'm not that sold). i don't like green very much, so i think they're trying to sell the right one.

 

Feel like DLO has earned his spot at this point but I guess we will see.

 

Trade him for Miles Bridges!!! Well...maybe

 

Bridges I think earns 7 Million a year. Prince and JHS works though…

He was one of the best players tonight and a main dog in why we went 4-2. He sure has made it difficult.

Yeah. Just think he’s responding to a benching in the way you want a guy to.

Also feel like if we can add a wing defender to him and Austin then we’d be in good shape down the stretch.

I'd also say it's give versa. You can't just bring Murray in; Rob better make another move w/Murray and hopefully they're a defender/shooter.

 

That would be a flat out steal, but Bridges is a bit of a physcopath tho. That last incident kinda soured me on him, but he can hoop.

They lack the Doctor’s panache, they’re nerds for their ability to scout unknown talent which should not be the thinking for high picks, it’s always best player available
