This sub has officially died no insiders anymore. But rda tweeted and deleted lakers have no active trade talks and no talks of ham being fired despite pressure on the front office. He said a trade is more likely then ham being fired called lakers a unserious front office.

no additional firsts, any seconds they want. we'd have to find a backup pg on the buyout market (cp?).

another one i wouldn't cry about.

still, though, smacks of shuffling deck chairs.

Anthony Edwards fined $40,000 for criticizing refereeing

The Minnesota shooting guard was fined for publicly criticizing the officiating following a 107-101 win over Oklahoma on Jan. 29.

    Shay Gilgeous-Alexander .
shot 15 of 16 from the line on Monday, and all Wolves players combined made 15 free throws for the match.
“How did we do today? I do not know. I’m ready to take the fine and say that the judges didn’t whistle at us today. We had to put up with all this pushing and grabbing and somehow play through it. I don't know how we managed to win. I give credit to our team, the coaches, of course,” Edwards said during the post-game interview.
So not only fan's are noticing something strange with SGA FT's

    Yeah that doesn't change much.
I still don't think we have a personnel problem. We are quite deep on the wing, a bit short on the guards due to Gabe disappearing and JHS being a scrub. On paper it looked solid. Same for the centers with Wood and Hayes who have been underwhelming but made sense on paper.
We just gotta play better so I blame the coach.

Except the coach. He's just gotta keep doing the same thing he's been doing. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I would be on board with this. It seems like a trade that works for everyone, the Nets have a need for DLo on the court and Dinwiddie is also an expiring contract which the Hawks prefer.

One thought I did have, it seems like a lot of people now have recency bias because DLo has been on fire for the past month.

Because of this, I’m wondering if the front office would consider sending Reaves and filler for Murray IF DLo also agrees to a extension at a reasonable salary (let’s say his same $17 mil a year but for another 2 season).

We could have a starting backcourt of Murray/Dlo, both are capable ball handlers. DLo would play the 2, he has the size in today’s NBA to do it. We might even be able to hide him better on defense at the 2, because he wouldn’t be the one expecting to be the POA defender against small quick point guards.

There aren’t that many super athletic shooting guards in this era of NBA so DLo should have the foot speed to do a decent job on defense. He would be guarding the likes of Devin Booker as a tough matchup for him, but more often than not on a night to night basis he would guard shooting guards that vary in talent from KCP to CJ McCollum. All of which I think DLo can at least keep honest on defense.

DeJounte would guard the likes of Tyrese Halliburton, Steph Curry, Jamal Murray, etc.

So I ask for others opinions on this, if Rob lines up DLo to stay long term and gives him a extension while also getting Murray, but the cost would be Reaves… would you do it?

    No.
DLo has been mostly good for us this year, but I’m not trading Austin, unless it’s in a big package for an All Star.

I would throw an top 5 protected first to Portland for Brodgon for Prince, Gabe, and JHS.

Fix a huge need, and save Ham for himself
I like Prince but man the team seems to flourish when another SF whether or be Cam, Vando, Rui is in that spot

This one surprised me today. Proximity wise, he's getting closer to LA. ... one day.

Wonder what Kennard and Tillman go for

Memphis doesn’t scare me at all in a series without a healthy Adams.
Houston is actually putting some decent pieces together.

f*** all the way off with that one.

Also 6ers done for this year.

If they need help in their front court, they can have Hayes for a couple 2nds. Lakers need to send the tape of tonight's game and hold him out until moved. Gotta hold that value.

I'm still only moving Dlo for Murray. That's it. Anything else is a downgrade and I'm not a fan of it. And since that deal looks very unlikely I don't think there's much to do except try to move Gabe for a backup PG who can actually play. I'd definitely try to get Schroder back.

I think we hold Pat and go to war with what we have. We might be players in the buyout market or make a small move to get under the tax apron to avoid the repeater tax. We suck, so might as well not pay penalties on this roster or accumulate penalties toward future years.

I always post explanations in the welcome to Lakersball.com thread when LB goes down.

Long story short, the NBA filed a copyright infringement claim that shut us down until I deleted the offending content, which was the online streaming site thread. We’re good now

the adams deal surprises me. i knew memphis had to cut costs pretty substantially, but didn't think they'd just dump adams to do it. they must think he's toast. doesn't solve their long-term issue at center, though. i guess they can aggregate some of their young players to try to get another center, but i'm not sure i wouldn't have just dumped those guys for future picks or something.

I thought Jeremi Grant played pretty well, against us in the bubble.
