Shrug...You repeating the same s*** in bold red, doesn't make it any more valid dude. WTF are you even talking about anyway? Which magical lineup are we referring to today? We've used a bunch this season.

Sidebar..Lebron has controlled the ball, and the offense, ever since he first arrived here. He did it 3 seasons ago, last season, this season too. Who in the hell did you think was really running the offense last season in the playoffs..D'Angelo and Shroeder?
They brought the ball up, and then gave it up to Lebron after crossing half court. Like everyone before them has done.

but we pretty much have to in any substantial trade because dlo's contract doesn't get it done by himself, gabe's dead, and vando can't be moved.

should have signed dlo to a bloated one-year deal and taken the tax hit like gs or the clips would have.

interesting that they would look for expirings and not be looking to bring in reliable veteran players like houston did. maybe that's the summer plan. though by the time FA gets here, who's likely to even be available? it's an even weaker crop this year, i think.

Nobody really wants to get rid of him. He's a great guy and a good young player with size and athleticism. It's just that we're pretty much forced to move him if we are getting someone who earns some serious $$$. Well.... it's either him or Reaves.

    LOL
Shaquille O'Neal Thinks Victor Wembanyama Would Have Been Destroyed In The 1990s
The reason why these two might get away with not bulking up is that the NBA is not as physical as it once was. Had Wembanyama played in the 1990s, O'Neal thinks he'd have gotten destroyed.

"I think people better watch out, but if this was our era, bang him, he'd be chicken noodle soup, which I kind of like."

If either of these two had to guard the likes of O'Neal, Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, and Patrick Ewing on a nightly basis, it wouldn't have ended well. Their bodies would have eventually broken down due to their lanky frames, but fortunately for them, they don't have to worry about facing those big men on a nightly basis

That's like saying most of those big men would be run off the court in this era. Which they would. Malone would probably have to develop a solid 3-pt shot, since he had a sweet jumper already, and I think Hakeem would do well in any era.

Shaq,Robinson,Malone and Ewing would dominate the paint so much in this era that your 3 point shooter’s would literally be standing by themselves behind the line.Lets not forget with how they call fouls and now techs for flopping it would be a huge advantage to have a player like that today

Same. The 90s and early-to-mid 2000s NBA had its own problems, looking back it’s crazy that no one had the idea to move around more or not stand as closely next to each other lol. But I way prefer that style of play to today.

90s basketball is legit awful. people are nostalgic and mix in the 80 super teams into their memories but that was easily the least talented era between expansion and lack of euros' coming in. Throw in spacing was just a disaster and it's barely watchable.

Watch those knicks/rockets finals and you'll be scratching your head like wtf are they doing.

there's no question that today's players are more skilled and athletic compared to players in the 90s, but the game back then actually felt like a team game. it wasn't just chuck 3 after 3. there was actual strategy. not to mention that you can't even put a breathe on a guy without a foul being called these days

i get that the game back then wasn't exactly beautiful with all those unskilled big men clogging up the paint and 20 second post ups, but i just personally can't stand the 3 pt contests we see today

yeah, 90s were hard to watch, but turning games into three point shooting contests wasn't the solution.

ironically, the 90s tried to do that by moving the line in, but it made it WORSE.

novel idea: move the line OUT. if you think you've heard me say this, you're NOT WRONG.

I'll take either. Both address needs, BUT to clear their longer, unwanted salary they're not getting Austin. I'll give up Max, but it'll mean the pick is heavily protected.
