It’s all good, what I want to do is more radical, exchange all our players and coaches for the OKC roster and their coaching staff… :giggle:

they'll get someone to bite on him for basically a useful-but-overpaid player and expiring salary to match the rest, imo. they don't need to throw caruso in.

Expiring salary??? Doesn't he have 4 more years guaranteed at 40+ million per season? And already in trade talks?

    Rock the vote

I had a really hard time with Eastern F/C. I don't care about any of them really, won't vote for a C bag and with captain selection gone, there's not the hopes of tampering.

Of all the things our front office has blown the last few years--and the number of blunders is legion--I'm not sure what we bungled with Schroeder. The first time around, we offered him 4 yrs/$82 million, which turned out to be far more than anyone else was willing to pay him, and he balked. The second time, we didn't have his bird rights, and the most we could pay him was the mini MLE, which was less than he could get on the free market. Again, not trying to play defense for the people who brought us the Caruso and Westbrook debacles (to name a few), but Schroeder is responsible for both of his departures. Though, candidly, I would have liked to have kept him after last season.

Maybe but when you at the length and sheer size of it any contender with it is going to get into first apron or even second apron.

It's crazy bad considering that Lavine is very flawed player on top of it

When are people goping to realize that Ham is not the right coach for this team? The roster has talent to compete, but it another season is being wasted on poor coaching.

I feel that a team like Washington or Detroit may get involved to help facilitate a three-team trade with the Lakers/Bulls. It could help with trades that leave unbalanced rosters. Washington likes our players.

I think it's first time in the history of the league that fast food won vs NBA player.:LLLLLebronlaughing:
According to The Athletic's Mike Vorkunov, Zion Williamson has triggered a clause in his contract after playing only 29 games last season. Starting from the 2025-26 season, his contract will no longer be guaranteed, meaning the New Orleans Pelicans have the option to waive Williamson after the 2024-25 season with no financial consequences.
If Zion Williamson misses a significant number of games in the 2024-25 season, the Pelicans have the option to cut his salary significantly. However, if Williamson plays at least 61 games and meets other contract requirements, his salary will be guaranteed again.
