We need to target a big man who can legitimately stop the bleeding if/when AD has to miss some time.

AD has proven a lot to me the past few years in terms of his toughness, but it’s not viable to have a roster construction that goes from legit championship contender when AD plays to one of the worst teams in the league when AD is out.

Need a Center, a legit 2-way wing?, and Russell is a space cadet.

Need to do some revamping before trade deadline.

Missing AD, Cam, Gabe and D'Angelo. We aren't that deep, this isn't the G League.

Apparently the Lakers had a players only meeting after this pathetic loss, and Lebron’s lack of patriotism was brought up, as well as blaming others for his missed coverages.

I guess being the All Time leader in scoring and Turnovers only gets you so far with the young crowd. Always good to clear the air though

    Lebron had a bad game
    Vando and Max contributed nothing
With out Cam the perimeter defense is atrocious and basically the reason they played zone all night.

Last year with Thomas Bryant going off we were able to outscore teams, Wood doesn't even provide anywhere close to the production or impact of Bryant. Should have grabbed a Biyombo or kept Bamba who could at least block shots.

lol the things people say.He was impactful alright for the other teams offense which is the reason he got traded.People want to talk about Woods defense but apparently forget how bad TB is on that end of the floor

i'm not sticking up for tb, but we used him pretty well last year:

he got traded because he thought he needed to be used more. then denver didn't use him at all.

wood's been just terrible on offense this year and basically just as bad as bryant on defense.

i don't think wood is a source of any real problems for us. he just also hasn't been a solution to anything.

He had no defense (Just like Wood) but he at least offset that with great offense. He put up 14.1 points, 8.4 rebounds on 62% shooting, 45% from 3, and 79% from the line in 26 mins as a starter for us last year.

He had some games where he put up Shaq like numbers and the team went 12-14 overall. Woods and Hayes are NOT making that kind of impact. They are trash on D and trash on O.

Wood can neither score(so far this season) nor play D. Hayes piles up fouls faster than most bigs I’ve seen not named Travis Knight. He can occasionally finish a lob on offense.
This was Rob’s only fail this past summer: not getting a big who can defend while AD isn’t in.

Non tax payer MLE on a team friendly deal is his value. At an average of $25m a year over the next 4, f*** NO.

While I agree that being a better defender than TB is not a high bar to jump nevertheless Wood is a better defender.Wood isn’t the problem big Hayes is

Wood’s neither starts nor plays 26 minutes so until he does it’s apples to oranges.
He is also playing a completely different role than he ever has before with his highest 3par% of his career and lowest usage%.You tell me what big you want instead?

TB played well with AD out because he had lebron and westbrick to set him up down low, not because he was creating his own offense. wood is more of a perimeter player

And yet with some playing time he put up 17-8-3 with 2 blocks.I got news for you the bigs are not the problem with this team. Its biggest weakness is their perimeter defense sans Cam.
