That picture of Draymond has a teammate and two coaches in the background. Their expressions say it all. It’s indefensible. It’s old. It has to stop.

“it’s an unnatural basketball act”. -Kobe (Probably)

The only way I do a Lavine trade is including Caruso. I would consider Russell Rui and Vincent for Lavine and Caruso. I don’t like Lavine’s contract but I like him as a player. He’s a more consistent scorer than Dlo.

I love Caruso and would do a lot of things to get him back but not LaVine. It would be like paying Bald Eagle another 20 million more than he’s making a year. I know LaVine makes more but he’s worth a certain amount to me, just not his current salary.

I just can't come around to that deal, even with AC who at the moment is my #1 trade target for us. I'd want a future unprotected first and a swap from them (which would never happen).

The contract is bad, the injuries are scary, the defense isn't good, the consistency isn't there, there's relationship issues with the coach. Ultimately I don't think he impacts winning basketball.

often feels like the bulls have no real plan or just poorly understand their own team and the market.

like...why extend derozan at this point? he's 34. your team is bad. he can't carry you. trade him for a 1st rounder; you can probably get it because he's expiring so the team giving up the pick can also offload a little salary--not a lot, but some.

and they've mishandled the lavine situation already. they should have moved him last year or last summer, imo. his price is going to keep dropping, then he's going to look like a steal when somebody trades their backup guards for him or something.

also, the klutch angle does have me a bit worried, i must admit...

I think they're just trying to hang on to whatever talent they have as long as they can because they don't get it very often.

They've had one good group since MJ retired and that was the Rose, Benny G, Deng, Noah core. It went through some variations over their time together, but that was the last competent Bulls roster.

These people are F'ing idiots. The league is trying to promote this thing, it got great numbers/ratings for a first ever event. They want it to grow and these stupid people don't get it and all they want to do is rip it apart. The league should have a talk with them and if they don't get on board, fire their butts and pressure the stations to fire their butts or lose their business.

But Lavine will not fit into the Lakers payroll without trading Hachimura/Reeves, who are not available until January 15th.And Reaves are not going to be traded

rui/dlo/gabe gets it done, i think (both in terms of value and salary matching) but then we have no pgs.

    i'm against it!

Rui Dlo and Gabe for Lavine and Caruso should get it done right abeer? That gives us a killer PG. Rui Dlo and Gabe is $43,800,000 outgoing and Lavine and Caruso is $49,500,000 incoming. Does that work? Obviously not available until January 15th so I can't do the trade machine to check.

The reasoning for me to do it is pretty simple - Dlo is ok but the disappearance half the time is tough. Lavine is a big upgrade there for me. Rui would be sad to lose but he's a bit of a luxury at this point since Vando has returned and Prince has recovered his three point shot. Plus the emergence of Cam. It's a bit of a redundancy at the position. Caruso is a major upgrade over the Gabe Vincent we've seen so far. He worked superbly with Lebron obviously and he's a sensational defender. Great fit and fan fave for good reason.

Those numbers are correct, but it is still cutting it too close to hard cap apron #1. It is doable though, with some more players added from each side.

For starters, maybe add Prince and Phillips to the deal.
