    apart from Gabe Vincent for Caruso, if possible, I would prefer to stay with our roster as well.

    He's playing less than 20min per game. He had surgery this offseason and they're being extra cautious.
    He's still super effective. Just scored 19pts in 19min in 57%FG yesterday. He's just not playing many minutes but the ones he plays, he's been good.
    I do agree they need a more reliable version of him to have a shot at the title, but it looks like they are just taking it slow with him, which seems smart

    He's not necessarily cooked but he's still trying to get into groove after injuries last season. I'm not sure if the numbers would have worked or if it was even possible but they should have tried to trade Middleton for Dame instead of Jrue. They've been missing Jrue's defense and they need less of Middleton's offense with Dame there.

    guessing that was a no go. jrue only has one year left on his deal, and he wasn't coming off a major injury. i'm sure they'd have preferred to keep him but no way the deal happens without him.

    when people always touted him, i didn't get it. he's fun as a 20mpg role player, but he's severely limited and always hurt. they basically got jrue for nothing, imo, as brogdon is also frequently hurt.

    Most double-doubles by a point guard in the first eight games of their season:

    Magic Johnson (1983-84) = 8
    Tyrese Haliburton (2023-24) = 7

    With the Pacers hot 6-3 start, plus leading the No. 1 offense, Haliburton certainly qualifies as an early sleeper MVP candidate to monitor.
