Miami can pivot by going after Jrue? He screams Miami, IMO.

    Well wtf just happened?

Portland is going to have make more moves or are they content with Jrue playing SG and mentoring Scoot? Does Jrue want that role: he's still good.
Are the Bucks better: Jrue had a rough time with Jimmy buckets but man he's a tough defender

I hate how much help the Suns got in this trade.

True, but Nurk is a talent downgrade though and is yet another Suns starter who you can't rely on to stay healthy. They do continue the trend of rostering one of my least favorite NBA players in Allen. If that dirty bum injures a Laker...

Another thought on this deal: really hope Clipps don't swoop in and nab Holiday. That'd be bad.

not really that great of a return for portland. they should look to flip jrue

when giannis talks, the bucks listen. they traded for jrue in 2020 when he was hesitant to sign a max deal and now they trade for lillard after he said he'd want out if they weren't contending for another title. east should be bucks/C Bags head to head

Maybe. I hate the C Bags off-season, probably more than any other team. And I bet they regret trading Smart right about now. They're lucky no one below them really made any sizeable strides, unless Harden stays East in a trade. But if Cs get to the ECF, Dame is gonna cook 'em.

    Lillard
    Connaughton / Beasley
    Middleton
    Giannis / Crowder
    Lopez / Portis

Great starting lineup but pretty shallow team. I'd been fading the Bucks but they're the favorite in the East now. I do not think this makes Phoenix better. I'm not high on Ayton, but he's better than Nurkic. Grayson Allen is a decent regular season guy but was a liability for the Bucks in the playoffs every year. Little and Keon Johnson, maybe they turn into something but they were not rotation quality guys last season. Seems like a cost-cutting move for the Suns.

yeah, bucks really need to strengthen that bench is they want to beat boston

and ayton/nurkic is basically swapping chairs on the deck. maybe a change of scenery will benefit him, but ayton is one of the softest, unengaged big men i've ever watched. nurkic has been injury prone the last few seasons and isn't anything special either, although i'd take him over ayton for sure

I feel like the Bucks can be really good. They should win a title with that team. Not sure if it’s this year or next, but that should be a really good team.

do we need Jrue for DLo? :p:D

looks like Portland wants to trade him.

    DO IT ROB

About that, are you guys giving picks to get Jrue? How many?
    I don't know what I would do

As we discussed here earlier in the week, makes all sense for the Bucks to go after Dame. It's a good deal for them and he totally fits their current window. Dame and Giannis are a scary duo.
The Suns get additional depth. Ayton is incredibly soft and Nurkic gives them strength and toughness inside they need. He does miss time from time to time and that may hurt them. Allen is a great defender they can deploy with either Booker or Beal in the backcourt. I see it as one upgrade and one addition to their 8-man rotation, good business for them

    Still, Lakers in 5
