he's certainly gone for a year. but miles bridges is already back, so if kpj stays out, it's because people decided he's not worth the trouble. there are a lot of talented basketball players who don't beat up women.

someone suggested on EsPN that the Lakers may sign Cameron Payne to our 15th spot. Not sure I see that making any sense. I don't see a need at that position at all. Probably click bait.

With DLO, Vincent, Bron, Austin, and JHS all capable in that department, that'd be an awful use of the 15th spot and he'd have very limited opportunity to show anything.

If we use it now, I'm certain it'll be on a non guaranteed deal and it SHOULD be on a defensive big. We're set at the wing and at the point. Otherwise, it's wait for the buyout market (unless a trade before that reduces the roster size).

SA does have to drop a couple more rotation caliber players to get down to 15, I'm curious to see who's the next casualty there.

guessing khem birch is cut. he's fallen off on offense but might still be a big body. don't see how he'd be better than biyombo for our needs, though.

they'll probably have to cut bullock, who would have interested me a year ago but not now with our roster construction and his crappy season.

He's not, but theoretically if you want to fill that 15th spot you could nab someone like him on a partial guarantee and as a 4th C. He only played 8 minutes a game in 20 games for Toronto last year. The goal is being on a roster this season. Whereas, Biyombo is in a different position. He'll, rightfully, want a role, backup C minutes, and guaranteed money.

Marks breaks down the new resting policy.

    Here's what stood out
Tanking is about to get tricky.

What about being tucked away in a suite?

i still don't get how you can prove a guy is healthy?

if player A doesn't want to play the last 10 games of a lost season and fakes an injury, how would anyone know he's not actually hurt?

Yeah, I think this is just to try that teams don't push it. There will still be load management and tanking but teams won't be able to push it (one time the Spurs had a Duncan DNP due to being Old)

Let's see how it plays out, but the league is being aggressive in approaching this topic apparently

I think likely there's pressure coming nationally to get this fixed before the annual $7-8 billion dollar TV deal comes into play. If it's a 3x spike, there going to want assurances they're not airing a Suns vs Mavs game being headlined by Keita Bates-Diop and Richaun Holmes.

I agree, it's near impossible to prove but they've got to start trying something and work out the kinks within the next couple years.

It's going to be one of the more interesting league wide stories to monitor this season and see how all the nuances/special circumstances are handled.

Who wants the optics of being a team who trades for this piece of s***?

if the draft picks are good enough and they just waive him, I guess I could see a case. How much is he owed?

I would be stunned if anyone traded for him. This incident by itself is enough but he already has had issues in the locker room.

Once the pictures of the victim's injuries leak, I think there's a very real chance that he's done despite what has happened with Miles Bridges.
