    LBJ has been in touch with Lillard. I've been told Lillard is intrigued by being a Laker but is open-minded to many other destinations, which makes it difficult for the FO to get the leverage they need to pull off the move.

    When I asked the fellow who told me "something is brewing" before Draft night if this is what he was referring to, he said he never got a name, but that it all lines up.

    My sincerest apologies that I don't have much more. The fact that I'm not hearing much means that LAL is likely just going to make smaller tweaks and try to get everyone healthy for another run next season. If there's a big star in play, I will start to feel the pulse get stronger. But I would imagine they leave no stone unturned when it comes to Lillard!

    Portland owes nothing to Dame, and he doesn’t have a no-trade clause, they should send him wherever they can get the best package for him. That’s what “loyalty” and not running from the grind get you.

    I don’t believe the Lakers will sign anyone else.I believed they wanted to stay below the first apron but apparently they want to stay below the Tax line.The 14th player will probably be Cole Swider

    Rob absolutely killed it this time. I love every move he and the FO made this time around. The Austin deal will probably turn out to be THE most value on return in the entire League for the next three years.
    Rob has my vote for EOTY.
