Too true unfortunately. Still, I don't see any way that Vincent starts.

Agreed. DLos contract is also extremely tradable, so maybe Gabe does end up starting in mid Feb.

I would too. Mostly why I don’t want it to happen, but also I don’t feel like they have the pieces for him. They could do Harden I think, but I don’t think they can’t get Dame.

    DLo / Vincent / JHS
    Reaves / Christie
    LeBron / Prince / Lewis
    Vando / Rui
    AD / Hayes

I really like it, especially if we could bring Beasley and Bamba back as depth pieces. All of a sudden we have a lot of competent guys between 6'5" and 6/10", which is insane given what the roster looked like opening night last season. If DLo trends downward in the playoffs again we're much better prepared this team to work around. We can throw Vincent in there, he's tough as nails. We can also go bigger and slide Reaves to the 1 with Prince playing the 2. If the defense/composure we saw from Christie is real, I could see him sliding into those lineups at the 2 next to Reaves as well. We may not have the legit floor-spreading center next to AD that a lot of us wanted, but this team has very good size and versatility across the board.

I kind of feel like we are pretty stacked. We've got:

    PG: Dlo, Vincent, JHS
    SG: Reaves, Christie
    SF: Rui, Prince, Reddish
    PF: Lebron, Vando, Lewis
    C: AD, Hayes

    UDFA 2 ways: Castleton (C), D'Moi Hodge (G), Fudge (F)

I'd love to add one shooter to the mix - either retain Beasley at vet min, or pickup Gordon at vet min. Either that or one more big like TT or Bamba.

Interesting,Damian Lillard has no right to choose where he goes. There is no right to ban an exchange he doesn't like, as Bill did. And given his contract (216 more for 4 years), Dame doesn't exactly have any leverage with Portland.
    2. Jerami Grant as a sign-and-trade is also not possible

Denver just lost their extremely vital 6th man for nothing.

When healthy, we are. Let’s wait and see who Denver adds. Would be nice to sign a big bodied Center to rough up the Joker.

But, he has sat around year after year after year as Portland continued to fail at building around him. He has built up more than enough good will. They don’t have to listen to Dame, but I think they will try their hardest to appease him. Obviously, Miami has to play ball as well.

We've added talent, they lost talent. A healthy Lakers team is better then Denver at this moment. Everyone is not done yet.

We will see. I don’t know the man personally, so I won’t comment on his desire to repeat.

I don’t see this happening, but who knows? The Spurs presumably have more/better draft assets they can give than Miami. And instead of Portland having to take on contracts they don’t want from Miami, they could just dump a large portion of Dame’s salary into the Spurs cap space. So they could save money and get a handful of whatever young players from the Spurs that they prefer.

My guess though is that Ramona’s intel is a tad off. There probably is some discussion between San Antonio and Portland, but not for Dame to go to SA but instead to help facilitate the trade with Miami

Not great, hoping Houston doesn’t pivot to Reaves. Hopefully we see Houston give Brooks a big contract now

And there really were some people (not here) that thought we could have had him for the MLE

Anyone else thinks, DLO's contract is very "trade friendly"? ;)
