I'm skeptical of any deal that involves a player, currently on a long term contract, that's considered to be an injury risk. I think Rob got those marching orders straight from Jeannie. This knocks out a few names. I've been on the Myles Turner train ever since we won the chip, so I'm reluctant to let that idea go.

Just me speculating here...If things go left ..Jerami Grant and Christian Wood are on expiring deals too. I'm biased tho..I like bigs...I think picking up a big 3/4 or 4/5 is the best move for Anthony.

The Nets are balling lately no doubt, interesting that Kyrie got a DNP Coaches decision, and Simmons only played 19 minutes.
No Curry, Klay or Wiggins for Golden State tho.

I don’t think Kyrie was dressed to play. They’ve been using Simmons well and could give him some rest tonight. Guy just came off some time away so working him back in slowly is smart.

They’re also slowly bringing in TJ Warren who is moving nicely and still knows how to score. I’m gonna call it here, they’re gonna be in the ECF and Durant is gonna pick up his second mvp.

If Durant keeps this up, they will be scary in the playoffs.

kyrie had a "calf injury," but i saw him dancing on the sideline so i'm guessing they simply chose not to play him because the warriors were playing a G league roster

i can see the nets making a deep playoff run but no way they're beating the bucks or C Bags in a 7 game series. their best chance was in '21 but kyrie got hurt, or else they likely win it all

If they can stay healthy they will be a problem in a 7 game series. , it depends on the injury situation with the other teams as usual.

They’re gonna be a hard out for anyone. They have two offensive dynamos in Durant and Irving with about 6 extra 40% shooters and Simmons who is a Swiss Army knife.

On the defensive end, they have a handful of defenders that can get stops and Simmons who is one of the better defenders in the league.

They’ll be in the ECF not sure they can beat two of 76ers, Bucks and C Bags back to back to make the finals. The East is tough this year.

That’s how most of these types of reports feel …

But Haynes may have some actual insight from Trae’s camp

Trae has his flaws, but if there was some magical scenario where Klutch was able to push one of their clients to LA between Lavine and Trae, I’d gladly give up all our picks to get Trae (I know it’s not actually happening).

Trae has now butted heads with the only two head coaches he's had in his young career and rumors are the locker room was on McMillan's side in this latest spat where Trae refused to play. He's an awesome offensive player, but also maybe the worst defensive player in the league. I would not be surprised at all if he's traded in the next year or two and I don't think I want us to be the team that gets him.

So easy for these offensive superstars to fall into prima donna mode as family and friends are too chicken-sh!t to be anything other than just another sycophant to them. Stars need that dad or uncle who doesn't take their sh!t and will say things like "you need to learn the other side of the ball boy and get you some D"/

Seems we want to be in the Cam business, just waiting on the price to drop.
So the new "deadline" is...Jan 15th? That's the next lift on tradeable contracts.

Trae would work very well with AD, actually.

    He would but...
    1) issues with two coaches
    2) issues with injury management
    3) issues with second best player on team
    4) reason for the GM shakeup is because Fields is close with Trae
    5) can't defend a statue

Of the Klutch top end talent, I'll take him over LaVine but he's a homeless man's Steph without the goodwill or the right outlook. Think the only reason we'd get a meeting is to drive up the cost and it'd be a favor to Klutch. He's going to cost young players, three 1sts (at least), and swaps.

He's a dynamic little dude though, and if he's on, he can flat out shoot the basketball. Collins and Bogdanovic is not a bad idea either.
