Bev/Nunn for some bad contract + 1 FRP, then 3 FRP + Westbrook for Lavine?

as far as stars go I think Lavine would be a good fit. A big dude that can slot into multiple positions, play with the ball and off it, and great shooter.

I would still prefer the Turner/Hield deal but seems that is off the table now.

I kind of feel like the Charlotte deal would’ve happened by now if we were really interested in it. I think Mitch would deal with us fairly and we could’ve gotten that ready to go by now.

we want a name and though I am actually higher on guys like Lavine and Beal than most, their contracts are huge and we’d still have depth issues. They also are injury prone.

So...everybody wants to play for the Lakers now. Lavine, Green, Turner, Derozan and Kyrie. Sounds like we are going to have our pick of deals out there. Well...according to the " anonymous insiders ". The ones that haven't been right about anything all season or this summer either.

This most likely means, that if we do make a trade, it won't be involving any of the players listed. Lol...hey John Collins is available, hearing some whispers that Trae Young might be looking around too.

We need to cash in on Russ's expiring. We won't have anyone's Bird rights so it'll be hard to sign unrestricted free-agents to field a team with only cap space. Rozier/Hayward/Oubre might be available without having to attach first rounders..

 

The Knicks just ..DNP Rose, Reddish and Fournier, and still blew out the Warriors by 40..they might know something about these 3 guys they want to dump on somebody.

 

Out of all of those, Trae and Turner are the only ones I would trade for.
That being said, I bet we don’t end up doing one of those big name deals.

 

I know the whole forum disagree with me when I said I saw the Nets being one of the best teams in the league this season. They’re now 3 games back from 1st in the East. They just scored 91 points in a half against the GSW.

I mean I just don’t think anyone understood what happens when you put that much shooting on a single team. Seth Curry, Joe Harris, Patty Mills, Royce O’Neale, Watanabe, Markieff Moris, Irving and Durant are all at or close to 40% shooters. It’s insane. After tonight they will have won 10 straight. And will have a top 10 offensive and defensive rating.

It’s a shame they didn’t blow up because we could have got something as the third team during KD’s trade. I was hoping OG could of fallen to us for 2 firsts.
