Giving up 2 FRP for that deal is still a terrible idea today.

It would have been an overpay admittedly. But I’d still probably have done it. And I might still if it’s out there.

    Naw, that's paying too much.

Trust me, you'd regret that in 2 years.

Just chill. If we suck this year and miss the PO's, it is what it is.

I’d rather make moves now and get to the playoffs. I don’t want to waste an MVP level year of AD.

If we get rid of Bev, i'll be just as happy as the day we traded for Pau. f*** that dirty, pos midget. Never should have been a Laker in the first place.

For what it’s worth, following this dude on social media I’ve learned he’s a clown. Flip flops back and forth on his takes and predictions, really seems like he’s leveraged his friendship with Lebron for a lot of clout. Figured it’s worth sharing though.

Seen a lot of negativity towards the idea of bringing in Kuzma, but honestly I’d consider it if Kuzma was willing to re-sign on a relatively team friendly deal.

I get that it would hurt to trade draft compensation to get him back when we already sent out draft compensation when trading him in the first place, but that’s water under the bridge.

Like if a similar package to get Bogdanovic could get you Kuzma instead, I would prefer Kuzma (again, assuming we knew he’d stick around for a reasonable deal and there was no risk of him leaving in feee agency). Not going to let the annoyance of the original trade sway me into preferring an older player who is a much worse defender.

I am open to the idea of trading one unprotected pick + Nunn/Beverley, but only for legit starting caliber 3 and D wings under 30 years old.

That means no to guys like Bojan Bogdanovic because he doesn’t fit that criteria, he’s 33 and isn’t really a defensive player. We would likely start calling him unplayable when we watch him on defense.

Kuzma meets the under 30 criteria but he’s not consistent enough in either defense or being a 3 point threat.m

The ideal players that fit this criteria would be:
    - OG Anunoby
    - DeAndre Hunter
    - Miles Bridges (He’s the type of player on the court we would need. It gets complicated when factoring in his legal issues)
    - Mikal Bridges (I would even consider 2 FRP for him, with lottery protections)
    - Tobias Harris
    - Harrison Barnes

I think if we can get any one of these guys for 1 FRP, it brings us to having a punchers chance of being a contender. We would need to bank on health and try to find a capable defensive big man to give AD breaks

Yeah, that guy is full of it. But why give up draft picks if we want Kuz? Just punt the season and sign him with cap space this off-season. That’s the level of player you're gettin with what we’d have, and then you can still sign Walker and Reaves. Not my ideal, but that’s where they’d end up.

AD and the rest of the collaborators decided to do that when they traded for Westbrook.

Unless it's an All-Star coming back for those two picks or two quality deals for a first rounder apiece, I'm good.

AD gets to suffer through this like us.
