Stop with this Iguodala nonsense. Dude was too old 3 years ago and is too old now. He's done

#Hornets are not extending a qualifying offer to Malik Monk, making him an unrestricted free agent, per league sources. Monk's time with Charlotte is done.

Yeah no thanks on Iggy. I'd only give him a look if we miss out on Gay, Melo, Green, and Ariza.

I know they are probably trading Dragic but I didn’t think they had that much cap space.

Anthony, Gay, Ariza, Davis, Kaminsky, Mills, Reddick, Ellington all could be Lakers next season?

They all seem to be minimum salary level players at this point in their career, except maybe Mills. Who do the Lakers use the 5.9 million MLE on?

Lol. Obviously I didn’t forget him - presume Eagle is gone if we s&t DS somehow for Buddy, keep THT, and use exception for Mills.

Well AD is more Important than the three point percentage by a country mile. A healthy dominant AD opens up better looks from three IMO. It's not like there is some sample, that says with a healthy AD, we would shoot 29% from three in a series.

Depends....Melo should want a ring over money. Yet the Knicks have a boatload of cash to give away and probably more minutes. We'll soon see which matters most to him.

ariza's been done longer than iggy, though.

gay, melo, and green have all shown that they can play a useful 20mpg. ariza and iggy are probably similar in overall impact (advanced stats wise), but they're both 37 (as is melo).

rudy gay and jeff green are 34. i'd go for the "youngest" ones, given our general age issues.

Done in what sense? If you mean done as a starter, or even a 30 minute off the bench 6th man I agree with you. But the guy is still in amazing shape. He is fully capable of a solid 12-16 minutes a game. He is one of the higher IQ players in the league. He has never shrunk in the biggest moments. He defines unselfish team play. His contribution is not about scoring. He defends and he is a glue guy for playoff level teams. He is perfect for this team off the bench at the 3 spot where we have the biggest hole.

Plus, I would love for Iggy to mentor THT in the way of the long arms.

Bullock seems like a good option with the 5.9, but the Knicks probably give him a good contract to stay there.

Doubt Green would leave Brooklyn for a vet minimum deal in LA. He and KD are pretty tight, come from the same area and they were rookies together.

can't figure out what they're doing. they got a lot of money in a really bad year to have a lot of money. lowry could have helped them, but he's going to miami.

ball could help them, but he's going to chicago or staying in NO.

i'm really not sure what they should do, but they have only 80 million on the books, with only hardaway as a FA they might want to retain.

had they kept richardson, i'd say that picking up wcs meant they may try to operate using exceptions (over the cap), but now they can't (or shouldn't).

I could see Melo going to Brooklyn. Gives them a little of what LA would have. KD, Melo, Harris, JH, and Kyrie as a lineup - yikes. Though we would have a lay up line against them.
