The information in that article sources back to Tony Jones. He is the Utah Jazz beat reporter for The Athletic, he’s legit

Kid has looked really good out there.

I'm looking forward to Orlando grooming another future Laker for us.

One of the future FRPs to New Orleans to take away their swap rights for our pick this year. Who says no?

New Orleans. Cause this team as constructed is leading the charge for Wembanyama.

is it impossible to win games in today's NBA without making 3s?

don't understand why they keep shooting them if they know they're going to miss

    Guys, here's an interesting fact:
If the Lakers shot only 2's so far this season, at the exact % we shot the other 2s in those same games, here is the result:

    vs Denver 10/26
    112-110 LAKER WIN

    vs Portland 10/23
    129- 106 LAKER WIN

    vs Clippers 10/20
    118-103 LAKER WIN

    vs Golden State 10/18
    130-123 LAKER WIN

It's a true statistic, so little reason not to think the same % or close to, would continue 100% of our shots were 2s. It's no small sample size, 60% of our shots are 2s and we make over 53% of them. If 100% of our shots are 2s we've won every game.

also not if we had averaged 35% on 3s ( A fairly decent 3-point average for a team), we would have won 3 of the 4, Golden State would have beaten us 123-116 and the other games were closer than if we just shot all 2s.
