No to 2 first round picks even with Bogdonavic. One is enough, it's not like we would be adding super star caliber talent. I'm only looking at this from the perspective of adding more pieces to trade for Kyrie TBH. The Nets say they'd rather have players over picks for Kyrie. Ok.now we'd have Turner, Hield, Bogdonavic and Bev to chose from.

 

The Westbrook staying home stuff is totally ridiculous. We made how to incorporate Westbrook, a part of the coaching interview process. This is just some wild desperation from the "Get rid of Westbrook at any cost" crowd. It makes zero sense, actually would make us look like bumbling idiots.

 

He'll play, and he'll be focused. I think adding Beverly was just what he needed to get in a surly mood and stay there all season long for us.

 

I totally expect him to come out angry and play with a chip on his shoulder. Losing his spot to Pat Bev has to be unimaginable in his mind. Darvin took all of his excuses and perceived gripes away right off the bat IMO. All he has to do is go out and go hard and hoop. If it doesn't work out, we can trade him later.. A 47 million dollar expiring contract is still a valuable asset in this league at the trade deadline. Only a quarter of the League is really serious about chasing a chip in any given year IMO. Saving money and clearing cap space, is still a high priority for most teams.

 

C'mon man, you can't possibly be serious. There are PG stars in today's league, but not only there are terrible teams out there, any of those is better than most if not all reserves' PG.

Also, LeBron only played with an all-star PG named Kyrie, who is actually more of a SG. So it's natural his team won't have a superstar there, so that's just a bias take.

Those 2 are a great fit with LeBron and you know it, that's definitely not the problem here

what's the team with a worse pg rotation than bevs/nunn? i guess san antonio, who actually currently employs zero pgs. wizards with morris and a rookie? point is it's a bad pg rotation, relatively speaking.

which would be fine if russ were used to bolster other weak spots on the roster (basically, anything but a pf would help), but not if we're just opting to sit him out.
