Have there been any released reports about Nunn’s health?

DJ Agustin, without even looking for other names.

There's too much baggage and Dennis is a locker room killer, he would disrupt or at least not contribute to the culture we should be trying to implement under Ham. That's more valuable that what he brings on the floor.

I think there are various opinions on Brown Jr and what he can ultimately bring to this team or what his ceiling is. I like him though, but I feel confident the 12 I listed are more prominent in the Lakers plans.

Same with the love for Gabriel, who I personally don't think makes it to opening day based on his non-guarantee.

Swider's shooting has been the most impressive thing in Summer League IMO and I think he actually could be in the final 15.

But various opinions of course but if we can get that "other shooter" from Brooklyn and a wing in a THT trade (Nunn and our exceptions is wishful thinking) then I would still put the 13 as follows:

    1. LeBron James
    2. Anthony Davis
    3. Kyrie Irving
    4. Joe Harris or Seth Curry
    5. OTHER WING
    6. Austin Reeves
    7. Thomas Bryant
    8. Lonnie Walker V
    9. Kendrick Nunn
    10. Stanley Johnson
    11. Juan Tascano-Anderson
    12. SLEEPER
    13. Damian Jones

Best chances of cracking that top 13: Swider and Brown Jr.

As of now Brown is the addition that I am most excited about.

I like Toscano-Anderson better and to me, especially right now- Stanley Johnson is extremely important. I like Brown, but I think he is a year away from rotational minutes....

But I would love for him to prove me wrong...

If we were to lose Nunn and THT in Russ trade for Kyrie/Harris, I think Reaves would be the nominal backup PG. As a practical matter, LeBron would do all of the ballhandling in those minutes and Reaves would be the point of attach defender. I think I'd rather go that route and maybe sign another wing-sized guy like DeAndre Bembry or Luwawu-Cabarot rather than bringing in another small guard like Schroeder.

I have a feeling BRK is laughing at us the subject of Curry unless Rob can make this about Curry = the 2nd pick. Otherwise they have no need to trade. He is an expiring and based on the dismantling of the team there is little to make him stick next summer unless they want to pay so that could help. We get his bird rights in a trade.

As for Schroder why is he suddenly a defender in some people's minds? He is too small and not physical enough for any post-ups and anything more than some superficial perimeter D on other squirts in the league. I'd have to agree with Reeves as a better option.

would rather keep Nunn if he's healthy. Best shooter we have currently and can play 1 or 2.

hopefully we can rebuild THT's value after Westbrook leaves, and flip him for a solid wing contributor later in the season.

All the stats that year said that Schroder was one of the top defensive point guards in the league. Van Gundy mentioned it a couple of times. I guess we'll just have to play the waiting game with Brooklyn. It's hard to image any other team, giving them 2 first round picks for Kyrie when he's already expressed the desire to play in LA. I get that they want to move Harris preferably over Curry, but they aren’t in a position of strength here IMO. Worse case scenario Irving and Curry for only Russ and two picks isn't exactly being swindled.

Except with it obvious now that Russ wants out and away from LeBron we lose any of the hoped for belief we’re willing to start the season with him. Following up on his exit presser. And in spite of a sincere Ham.
