There's a discrepancy between what Lebron/media hype and the Lakers upper management want.

We are not ponying up first round picks for basically same results even if Kyrie was here.

Your super stars have not played like Top 5 level MVP caliber players (Lebron and AD) so it really doesn't matter if you make changes around them.

 

Those two were very productive role players. Individually they are lacking but they fit like a glove next to Lebron. That 2019 team had other issues as well.

lol. the entire theory of westbrook was that we'd be BETTER protected against the stars missing time. the opposite happened. complete belly flop.

 

MJ & Charlotte were supposed willing trade partners for Westbrook so maybe that remains the case, maybe BRK would be interested in a Rozier, Plumlee, Batum/Oubre type package. I don't suppose Hayward would do much to entice them.
