Marc Spears: There is noise about a Russell Westbrook for Buddy Hield/Myles Turner trade. This could be Rob Pelinka’s backup plan that many have referenced. I’m not sure if Spears meant Buddy + Myles or it’s a package built around one of them. #nba

Trying to see how a kyrie deal could be before the Durant deal. I don't see it at the moment.

turner/hield's a good backup plan...and also a possible three-team return that bkn would prefer.

Might be a contingency but possibly & more likely trying to expand the deal, IMO.

Thats a very good back up plan if its both Hield and Turner… I can be convinced it might be the better plan tbh.

We may have the “Laker Tax,” but the Clipper Curse is just as real!

This is a much better Plan B than the previously reported one.

i'm skeptical of anything involving indy after the PG fiasco. pritchard was pissed. if he enters a deal with us, i feel like he thinks it will harm us.

Something normal would have had to have happened for the Clappers to before them being cursed. They aren't cursed, they're just the Clippers.

Agreed. If anything I expect them to be working the phones to try to keep us from getting better.

I would love to see GS give away key championship players like Wigging and Poole, trade away their future for a 34 year old Durant. Would love it. I mean Wiggins was only in the Finals MVP discussion for his defense and clutch play, but sure, trade all that and just be a super old team.

Yeah somehow I got discombobulated, thinking that next summer since LBJ and Kyrie's deals are expiring, they could be signed last, after any other deals and since we have their birdrights we could go right up to the cap with AD and any other deals we have and then add LBJ + Kyrie. Of course, that's wrong, their cap holds go directly against the cap.

Why would the Warriors do that? They have 3 franchise vets and the rest are young and can continue to contend for another decade as those three transition to let the youngsters take over eventually.

they probably think and rightly so that with Durant, they'll go back to being virtual champions if healthy for a couple of years at least.
